Yea, we stayed across from the Newark Airport before going on a cruise in 2007 and driving through Newark was scary! It was nighttime too and we couldn't find the hotel...it was so confusing.

The place I live is so suburbsy-safe. We were in the top ten best places to live according to Money Magazine in 2006 and 2008.
I mean, yes, there a drugs and what not, but I'm not sure there are any places that DON'T have drugs going around.
I've never heard of any violence around here. I live about a half hour from Baltimore though, and thats like dangermurderscary central. lol, the only place I feel safe in bmore is the inner harbour, aka tourist bmore.

i don't think i do...i think it's a little sketchier than the other parts of my town but there haven't been many crimes or anything...people are hardcore into drugs around here though

tons of kids in my school have gotten busted for pot and stuff

Yep.

Kids in my neighborhood? Not so good. (Besides the little kids next door, I'm probably the only "good" one here) Arrested for fondling on the school bus, drugs, expelled from school, oh all sorts of things. Plus, there's a bar/restaurant up the street, so we get tons of drunks. Plus, cars that speed through the streets here. Smokers, too. It's not the safest neighboorhood, but it's home.

My side of town is quite nice mainly because the majority of residents are of the elder generation. I only encounter problems when I take my horse out around the estate, old people are the rudest.
The other side of the town, whilst our little south-easterly valley town can't touch some of the american cities it's not somewhere you drive through with your car unlocked xD

We've had a few stabbings and a couple of rapes. We have a slight drug problem round here.

But what is annoying, is that my town is a commuter town, within a larger town. If that makes any sense. People always say that our town is full of crime and is horrible, when it isn't. It is a modern town, but hello, it is a commuter town, so the crime commutes here

Not really.
It's a really small town, and you don't really go here unless you know someone living here because it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere.
And most of the people here are older and have lived here their whole life, there's not too many young people.

there's giant houses and SUV's and snoty people that need their starbucks coffee everymorning
pllllllenty of drugs going around though.
becasue all the snoty moms & dad's have lots of money to give to thier kids.

It's not too bad.
There was a murder down my road a few years ago, and drunk people run around occasionally. Surely there is drugs going around everywhere.
But really it's not dangerous. Then again my end of town is almost all family members.

How do you know it was meth? (I've never seen meth and wouldn't recognize it if I did).

And nah I don't live in a real bad part of town. I call it the ghetto mainly because it's the only area with lower middle class houses around so it's weird to live in an ugly neighborhood when all your friends have super nice houses. The only bad thing I've ever heard of happening was a drug bust in a park down the street, but that was like 5 years ago.

MY town is fine, its mostly retired peole from NYC so we dont have any problems.

But, the town about 5 min away from mine has some problems. You'll hear about drug busts and things like that,there was even a drive by shooting there a couple years ago.

i live in a safe neighborhood i guess, but every town has its bad qualities.. so i realy dont live in a city, its a town, like three little beach communites-jax, neptune, atlantic. but people over the bridge refer to them as the "beaches" (it annoys the crap out of me, cause were indvdual, seperate mayors, city councils, etc.) but umm..the worst i can think of is the drug dealer down my street, but he dosnt bother anyone..he used to be nice. then my cousin lives the other community next to mine and she has this one guy who they THINK poisened there dogs, have had a bike stolen, some dude broke into a church, some guy randomly walked into neighbors house, then this kid (i feel so bad for him) his dad tries to kill him ALOT! but it is not as bad as it could be.
