I have no prob with mine now. However I had a crazy one who kicked down the fence when I would not let my child play with them at 8:30 at night.
then after that they would balst Barney music late at night ... ...So I called the police and out went the music.

Yes I like them all, we usually all get together for Christmas and 5 houses of them buy gifts for my daughter for her birthday and Christmas. In the summer we all hang out outside in the evenings and talk and we have the keys to 4 neighbors houses in case of emergencys and they have the keys to ours.

I know several of them pretty well and I'm friendly with the rest. We're very lucky on that front.

NO!!!!!! My across the hall neighbors play music loudly all day and night, my dh sleeps during the day, works at night, and my kids nap during the day. And they let their kids scream in the hallway when they are coming home at 11pm, 12 am. They know I have small kids, obviously they are SLEEPING!!!!!! My kids get loud in the house sometimes, but never in the HALLWAY where it disturbs everyone! And the kids are not small, they are like 10 and 12. Come on!!! And just last night I got woken up by a strange sound coming from upstairs, around 12:30 am......... They were VACUUMING?!?!?!Our apartment is not well insulated, but vacuuming at 12:30? Yeesh! Sorry, i dont like my neighbors. The current ones are better then the one we had when we first moved in.....He strangled his wife so he could be with his 15yo girlfriend. He just got back from Iraq, and they had a 5 week old baby. It was so sad.

We have great neighbors, in fact we met our best friends when we moved in. They have kids the same age as ours. All of neighbors are great, can't complain a bit.

After a few arrest and the one sleeping on our porch in the early morning house burnt down .We are just fine now.

Still have a few but can live with them in peace.

Most are family! But the lady on the west side is crazy, really! The neighbors on the east are family. The ones across the street love to watch us, they even told the inlaws one time that we were out for our nightly drive! WTH??? But they are pretty nice. There is only one I can not stand!!!! I have lived on this block for 28 years!

Most of our "good" neighbors have moved on to bigger houses. They have all sold to investors so now we have 11 rentals on our street. It's tough to get to know any of them as they rotate in and out all the time. The other 8 "owners" are very quiet people that I don't know all that well. Wish we had a better street so the kids had some friends on it.

I have super neighbors. Not nosey but aware. Very pleasant, very neighborly. None are really good friends, although the wife of the Brit couple on the one side of us that we keep an eye on thier house is becoming a good friend. Thanks God for Vonage, we've had a lot of lengthy calls!

The guy a few doors down is a broker, deals only with high net worth clients, but has taken my son under his wing and helped him set up an invetment account. I really appreciate him doing that, my son is very nervous that someone will 'steal" his money after hearing everything about Enron and such over the past few years.

We like the couple on the West side of our house, we don't like the couple to the East of us. The couple one house over from us is quiet but their son is in prison for killing his ex-girlfriend. He just finished his studies to become a Veterinarian. He waited for his girlfriend to come home while he was hiding in an upstairs bedroom with a gun. He killed his girlfriend and chased her sister. Fortunately, the sister got away. I feel sorry for the parents, he is their only son.

Uh no. I have the bossy one next door who tries to mother me and her friend across the street that's a know it all pain in the rear. The two of them joined forces to call animal control on us after we changed the house locks and put an lock on the back gate so they couldn't have access to our house and dog at all times. Animal control said the woman sounded nuts when she called. The guy next door is nice and we say hi, the guy across the street is friendly and keeps to himself. It's just the other two that drive me nuts.

Same here ! My one good neighbor and daycare provider,when DD was younger, just moved this summer to Indiana!

Yes, I like my neighbors. The one on my right, I've known since I was 15, I was best friends with their daughter in high school. The ones on my left, although they are newer, my son and her son are best friends.

We will be moving this summer, and will not have any "real" neighbors. We will be about 4 acres away from one neighbor, and about 20 acres away from the other. The ones that are 20 acres away, lived behind my DH all his life, now they will be living behind us!

I used to like them all but now there are only about 3 of them left that were here when we moved in . I dont like any of the others LOL I am sure they dont like me . I keep to myself and only wave at them .

We are looking to move and I am happy bout that for sure.

People turned alot of the houses around us into rentals not that renting is a bad thing but it is for me because of the people they are renting to .

The people across the street are very nice. We really don't know the people on either side of us. The woman on one side used to be president of our homeowners association and she is not friendly at all!! The people behind us are the ones that really irk me. They have about 6 windchimes hanging in their backyard - along their house and in the trees. They drive me nuts - I don't appreciate hearing that racket when I am in the INSIDE of my own home! We have asked them twice about moving them but they haven't taken them down! UGH!
