your drink with your spouse/SO/kid?:confused3 I mean drink out of the same cup/bottle/glass. I am a germophobia so I don't!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neither do my kids, but the DH on the other hand:sad2: does not bother. He has "killed" many a drink in our household or at least for the rest of us.:sad2:

I always thought I was only like this....I CAN NOT share my drinks...just grosses me out...YES...even with my kids or DH or my best friends!!! I am glad I am not alone!!!!!!!!!!!

No big deal to me providing the kids or hubby isnt sick at the time. Of course when the kids were little, no way! I hate backwash.:lmao:

It doesn't bother me to share drinks with my daughter or my two nieces (7 & 3yo) ... but I won't share with anyone else. Not even with a straw!!!

My boyfriend and I share drinks all the time.

with my DH2B i usually share a drink with him. i mean, we're sharing a whole lot of other things, a drink doesn't bother me! lol. but with other people i usually don't. i don't have any children, so i can't answer for that. i normally don't with my family either.

could be worse, DH2B's mother lets the dog drink right from her cup!!! ewww!!!:scared1:

Oh heaven's NO, can we say back-wash *gag*. I trust NO one!!

:lmao: Kinda the way I look at it too (sharing other things w/a S.O., I mean..:rotfl: ) I do have a no share rule with kids until they learn not to backwash...lol

I even chug milk straight from the jug. Horrors! Now if I can teach my BF to not put it back empty after he does it all will be good in my life. :thumbsup2

I know someone who does that dog thing too.....UGGG. At least my BF doesnt lick his own butt. **dramatic pause**Well, I hope he doesnt anyway.:lmao:

It's never bothered me. I used to share gum with my friends all the time.

With DBF: yes, of course. Gee, I guess you people kiss each other, right? What can sharing a drink be worse than kissing each other? (and all that other stuff couples do... :rolleyes2: )

With my brothers/ mom/ grandmother: sure, why not.

With kids: don't have kids yet, but not so sure I would want to share with them,a s long as they are not from an age where they drink "with manners", lol

Only person I don't mind sharing drinks, food with is my daughter...other than that no way.

Every now and then, if we're eating out and order an interesting beer or something like that, dh and I will sample each other's drink. But, otherwise, no. I like to have my own drink. I never share a drink with the kids because they always have their own drink when they are thirsty.

As far as refillable mugs go at WDW, we each get our own.

I'll share a drink with my family members. I figure, I've had worse things in my mouth than a little backwash. :rolleyes1

The only time I ever share a drink with my husband is if we are somewhere like the mall and one of us gets a bottled water. We'll share it. At home, restaurants, people's homes, we drink out of our own glass/can/etc.

My dad and stepfather share their drinks everywhere. It's gross in the fact they act like it makes them look lovey-dovey. It's mostly my stepmother's doing. She's a dingbat.

I'll share with DH and my kids, no big deal. I usually don't pour one glass with the intention to share, but we will drink from each other's glasses on occasion if we just want a quick sip in passing. We have also shared water bottles while out. I figure we kiss each other, so there's plenty of germ sharing already going on! With the kids, somehow I don't mind handling any of their "stuff" - they are almost an extension of me. There's something about giving birth to someone that makes you close in a special way.

I don't think that I've had my own drink in 14 years. I share much worse things with DH, so a drink is the least of my worries. My 3 DDs think my drink is theirs. I too drink from the milk jug or 2 liter.(of course they are forbidden to. Hey! it's a privilige they get when they are a parent.) I'm in no way a germaphobe though. Very little bothers me. Thankfully, none of us have ever been very sick.

Same here. I can't imagine not being able to share a drink with someone I would kiss. Sorry -- I just think that's bizarre. :confused3

I will share anything I have with those that I care about:)

I'll share with my family.
There are so many germs out there, can't stop them all.
