I don't. I think look HORRIBLE in a tux. I look "ok" in a suit, and, I think, a little better than that in a jacket and tie. All things considered, I'd rather be in a nice pair of jeans with a nice collared shirt.

But that isn't what I actually wear. I am in jeans and a T most of the time, shorts and a T if it is above 55 degrees.

I hate having to get dressed up. Once a year is good for me.
My DH tells me I say at my job because I can wear jeans everyday! (which is probably true LOL)

Depends on the occasion. DH's old job we got to go on great work trips and part of that included a formal banquet, that was good, otherwise, no, I don't like to dress up.

I have to say though, I have never seen a man look bad in a tux.

YES...I love to dress up:banana:

You mean like this...

The first decade that I worked for Visa we had a standard banker type dress code - suits and heels. By the time I left I was wearing capri pants with birkis and very happy to do so.

After 5 years of retirement I find that I actually like putting on a dress or a suit - about once every 2-3 months.

Same thing with makeup. I used to keep it in my desk in case I ended up with a date for lunch or after work. Now I only put it on for special occasions - I often won't wear makeup for a girls only event. I think that comes from going to a women's college. We never wore makeup to class - only for dates.

Sometimes I get invited to a Mardi Gras ball in New Orleans. I have two long dresses - no pants allowed for women, must be a long dress or skirt. That's kind of fun.

I love to dress up! I just don't get too many chances to. And for the record, I think every man looks good in a tux. ;)

I have to attend 2 awards shows each year that are very formal and that is more than enough for me! I hate the whole shopping for a dress, finding shoes I can walk in and matching the jewelry part. Thank goodness for my gay male friends who love to shop with me! ;)

I'm a JEANS gal!

I absolutely despise it.

No, really it actually makes me angry when I have to find something to wear. Could be that I have no sense of fashion what-so-ever, so I am lucky if anything matches, I look like a cow, and I would much prefer to be in sneakers.

Nope, not me. I'm lucky that the office I work in is pretty casual, but I still live for Fridays, when we can wear jeans!

The next time I'll be getting dressed up is *looks at calendar* . . graduation.

I HATE getting all dressed up. Now, I do wear a dress shirt and dress pants on Sundays (I'm the Pastor, so I have to set some kind of example), but hardly ever a tie, and forget a Sports Jacket, or Suit Coat.
In fact the last time I wore a tie and a Suit Coat was when I had to preach a funeral a couple of months ago. So, besides doing funerals, and Weddings, I almost never wear a tie or Suit Coat.
As for a Tux? Forget it. I wore one on my wedding day (almost 17 years ago) and I think that was the last time.

No. It isn't so bad in Spring/Summer, when I can just put on a little dress and go...but in the winter I just hate it.

Me likey jammies best!

I was all set to get really dressed up on Dec. 16th, for my DBF's company Xmas party. I took hours shopping for just the right outfit, and was so pleased with my choice. Don't you know that I ended up in the ER that night with a complication from a surgery I had in Oct. I ended up being admitted to the hospital as well, so even my BF couldn't go to the party alone, as he stayed in the hospital with me. I still have my outfit, my BF said we will have to go somewhere special soon so I can wear it. So, yes, I do like to get dressed up, when I can!!

Hate it. Don't own anything to get dressed up in. If it requires it, I don't attend. Mother wants me to go on a cruise. I told her I wasn't doing formal night. I'm stricly a jeans kinda gal. Hey, I can make jeans look good.;)
