Do you like the Garden Grill?

The character interaction was top notch- seriously the best out of any of our (many) character meals. DS got so much attention from each of them that he was just in his glory. :) He had gotten some new Cars toys that day, and Mickey stayed at our table for a while and played cars with him- you should have seen his little face. He was just so happy. :)
We got awesome pics there also b/c it was so hurried and frantic.

The revolving aspect was cool. Not amazing or anything, but it was different. Other than that, it's not a very pretty place to eat. It's kinda dated looking. It is very quiet and relaxing though.

The food was decent- not great, not bad imo. It did taste pretty fresh and natural to me- just not particularly yummy- maybe a tad boring taste-wise. All that being said, we chose it for the characters, not the food or the view, so we were happy with it, and I would recommend it for sure.

We were at the Garden Grill 2 days ago...
Service was excellent...
It rotated fast enough to notice, but not to get dizzy... wound up doing one full rotation during the coarse of our meal.
Characters were great...very interactive...we were able to see everyone twice! Which gave DH and I a chance to get our pics taken!
Food was very good in my opinion... first came a basket of bread with a tasty sweet butter... then there was a nice family sized garden salad with lots of fresh veggies...DH loved it..
Main course was served on a long plate separated into thirds... One was fried catfish on top of veggies...both were yummy!... next was Turkey on top of cornbread stuffing...again, very good...although stuffing was a bit salty..
And third was steak on roasted potatos... Steak was tender and done perfectly... potatos were very good...
Kids got a huge plate of nuggets, mac n cheese and fries... We asked for more of everything and were happily obliged...
Dessert was a cup of dirt and worms for the kids... (pudding, cookie crumble and gummi worms..)... and for the adults was a Blueberry Buckle, which was kind of like a warm Blueberry muffin with a great vanilla whipped cream on top. We were so full by the end of our meal... I enjoyed this restaurant and was glad we chose it for our last meal at Disney... would definitally recommend it!

Exactly what we had last week... it was great and very yummy! Garden Grill is always one of our must-do's! Service was great as well. :goodvibes

We went there once for DW's birthday a few years ago. We had no problems with the food or service, we're just not fans of the "family style - all on one plate" meals.

Garden Grille used to be a must for our family of 12 (grandparents, parents and kids). We dined there every year. First off, they can accommodate our large party. The characters are the best and give you plenty of time. The revolving floor was fun. However, our last dinner was very disappointing. The characters were still great, but the meal is no longer worth the high price. We knew what the food would be before we got there, but we were still disappointed. I agree with the writer who discribed it as defrosted Stoeffers. The day we went, the revolving floor was not working. The waiter said it had been out of commission for two days. I think we will skip the Garden Grille for a while and see if they make some much needed improvements.
