tried these for the first time and I am addicted. I have no idea why, maybe because my mom is a chef and I have never had these before. All I know is that they taste like heaven in a tiny tin pan! The turkey ones are my favorite. MMMM!

No....I hate them....but I also hate stuff like chicken and dumplings and chicken noodle soup....ick!

Oh my gosh! I completely forgot about these...when I was a kid we used to have these once in awhile and I loved them! We didn't get them often as my mom always cooked, but thery were a special treat...

I think I will have to stop at the grocery store on the way home...

Thanks for the tip!

I also remember from childhood some sort of sliced beef in a bag out of the freezer section that you plopped the whole bag in a pot of boiling water and it was gravy with the beef that we used to pour over bread...can't remember if they were good or not tho....

When I make chicken veggie soup, and my family is tired of it, i use the mushed up chicken, veggies and some broth and make a pot pie.. A family favorite..

Since I don't cook..................Marie Callendar pot pies are the very best::yes::

I love pot pies and turkey is my favorite.

Ok, where is this from? I've heard it before but I can't remember where.

It's from an episode of Just Shoot Me. The photographer's brother kept saying it.

Only chicken pot pies and some turkey and it's got to be Banquet.:D

Nothing beats a homemade chicken pot pie!

Easy recipe:
Grab a rotisserie chicken from the grocery deli, and pick off the meat. Put chicken with 1 can of chicken broth, 1 can cream of chicken soup, and 1 large package of frozen mixed veggies. Place mixture in 2 pie baking dishes, top with a few slices of Swiss cheese, and cover with pre-packaged pie crusts (I like the kind not in a tin that you can unfold). Cut a few holes for steam, and bake at time and temp. labeled on the pie crust box. Or freeze for later (we always eat one and freeze the other)

So good!!! You'd be amazed at what that little bit of Swiss will do for the crust!

I haven't had them in years, but I do remember liking them when I was a kid! I wonder if my kids would like them as a snack. DS14 is always hungry.

Yes, Donny. I was thinking that's where it was from.

Donny's pants are getting tight!

LOL.

I like my idea of pot pie...pot pie with a real crust. Around here pot pie is slippery pot pie, which is like a stew with wide noodles. Not something I like.

I love pot pies. Swanson now has one with mashed potatoes on the top which is really yummy! Of course the best one from outside the house is the one from 50's PT at MGM!! YUMMY

I can't eat pot pies, they give me a stomach ache. I have to take Beano.

Well, I love them but after actually reading the darn nutritional label on the frozen ones (why the heck did I do that?) I just can't eat them anymore. Do yourself a favor if you like them, don't read the box and enjoy sparingly. The fat content is unbelievable.

I've tried the low fat varieties and now take a pass on those too.

I like the recipe for homemade pot pies on the Bisquick box.
