Do you like Peeps? (inspired by the Cadbury thread)

It's almost Easter so the Peeps are out in full force. How do you feel about them.

I love them - like them better when they are stale or frozen.

I usually buy a bunch after Easter for about 17 cents and put them in my freezer.

What's your favorite color and shape?

I like the bunnies in lavender.

Before last Easter we had never heard of Peeps as you can't get them in the UK, but my friend sent us some little yellow chicks and we love them, wonder which she'll send this year

The best thing about Peeps is that you can turn a little tiny chickie peep into a giant chicken in the microwave. You have to watch. It doesn't stay big for very long but its fun to watch it grow!

DH LOVES them, and opens the package, lets them get stale (hard and crunchy) and then eats them. (double ick).

Don't like them...they contain gelatine. I don't eat gelatine because it's origin is really disgusting.

Absolutely disgusting! I used to work for a candy company and they made these at our location. They were everywhere! To this day, I still have recurring peep-related nightmares!

I love the yellow chicks and bunnies---a good and fast sugar rush. I only get them a couple of times. I need to join the WISH board.

LOVE 'em. Fresh, not frozen. Took all I had today to NOT buy a 5 pack in the Wawa.

If you like them, you MUST try them roasted over an open fire. They cook very quickly and when the outside cools a tiny bit it gets a crackly crust that is just amazing!!

In case you are wondering, I bought them after Easter and threw them in the camping box figuring it would be a fun experiment/playtime around the fire. Who knew!?!?

I love them, I am the only one in my family that does though. I even like them when they get a little stale.
I guess this year I will have to do without because they sure are not on my low carb diet.
