It is the most unique ride experience I've ever had. It's a multiple must-see for me.

None of your answers fit me. I think the theming is good and it's interesting to try it b/c it's a one-of-a-kind attraction. I did not have any ill effects from it although my dh did. The thing that disappoints me about it is I have no desire to do it over and over like I do other major Disney attractions. I'll probably do it once a trip.

As for the rest of my family, dh isn't sure he'll do it again. Oldest and youngest sons loved it. Middle son (age 15 at the time) thought it was lame.

None of the responses really fit me either. I didn't hate it, and I didn't suffer and ill effects, but I didn't really love it either. I would ride it again, but I wouldn't be disappointed if it were down for some reason for my trip.

Dh is in the hated it category...boy did he get sick! (Despite following all the warnings to the letter.)

Dd 11 enjoyed it enough to ask to go a second time during our trip, but she wouldn't be heartbroken if it were closed either.

Ds 13 said it was ok but has no desire to go again.

Ds 5 was too short.

I rode it 3 times. The first 2 times were not bad. The 3rd time my son had to help me off because I was so dizzy. I sat down for about half an hour then felt better.

I liked it. I had no ill-effects, and would ride it again in a heart beat.

Is it a motion simulator ride like Body Wars and Star Tours? Or is it a roller coaster?

We love it and ride it multiple times each trip. We were there and rode it on the 'official' opening day. As to what kind of a ride it is...how to describe it...let's see.

There are multiple 'pods' that fit 4 people in each 'pod'. You get in, put the shoulder harness down, the control panel moves right up to you. It is somewhat claustrophobic!!! Then, the lift off..you tip backwards, the rockets explode and you really do feel like you're lifting off on the space shuttle!!! then you have different 'functions' to perform, depending on where you are sitting. It is an intense experience. Think the 'Scrambler' to the nth degree. You do feel weightlessness. Some get sick or have headaches from it. My dh had a slight headache the first time and hasn't done it again. The only time I ever felt at all queasy was when I rode it after eating a pretty good size meal. That was a mistake!!! Don't do that...wait a few hours before riding. Trust me.

I'm glad I did it, but I won't do it again!

I loved it and would ride it again! But I will add that on our last trip my father, who is 64, came off of MS with chest pains and scared me half to death!! He has ridden it before and was a former Navy pilot so he has done this sort of stuff for many years. Thankfully, he was fine but I told him that he can NEVER ride MS again! No heart attacks at Disney thank you very much.

We did Mission Space 1st thing in the am, without breakfast was advised to us. We are sure glad we can say we did it, my DH was quite ill after the ride and he was worried about me!!

When a ride has vomit bags in front of you during the ride, we should have thought twice!!

We will not do this ride again, we will stick to the 60-70 MPH rollercoasters!! lol

We love it and will definately do it again.

:earsgirl:

I liked M:S but it could have been better. The whole experience wasn't long enough and I think they need to offer different levels of speed.

Like hot sauce, mild, hot, and SUICIDE!

I like this ride, cant really say I love it but voted that way.

My first experience was a bad one. I felt flush and dizzy and had to sit down for a lil bit. But withen 10 min I was ok.

So then next time we went I was a little worried. But had no problems at all, and have ridden it probably another 5 times since and haven't any problems.

I absolutly love rollercoasters and never have a problem with them. The DW hates them and she had the best time on the ride so GO FIGURE.

DH ,me and boys 13&10 really enjoyed this ride. It is amazing! That being said, I think my boys will be the only ones to ride it again. DH and I were a little off for most of the day after riding. (We're really off most days, but that's a whole other story!)Really glad we did it though!

I voted for loved it, but that's a little strong. I liked it and will try to do it again, but I won't wait in huge line for it. I guess after all the hype, I thought it would be a little better. I'll say it was intense, but I think once a trip is enough for me.

I think it is a really great ride. I always try to get to epcot every day of the trip to ride it. I rode a couple of times a day when we were there in January.

My DH almost skipped the ride since he's been getting bad motion sickness in the last couple years with just a little spinning. He took ginger capsules and we ended up doing M:S three times during our visit. My DH really liked the ride and I enjoyed it also.

Once or twice during a trip is enough for me and I don't want to do it LOTS of times like I do Tower of Terror, but I do enjoy it.
