Do You Like Hot Chocolate/Cocoa?

I LOVE hot chocolate and Swiss Miss is fine with me but it MUST be made with milk and not water.

Growing up, we always made it with equal amounts of cocoa and sugar, blended with a tiny bit of water to mix and then heated with milk on the stove. I remember it being soooooo good but for some reason when I try to make it now it just doesn't taste the same.

I love hot chocolate!! I just do the powder packets too.

I only drink coffee in the morning and do either hot chocolate or hot tea later on when I start feeling a bit chilly.

Mmmm. You can buy packets of hot chocolate from Serendipity in NYC. It's the best!!!

My favorite is the Land O Lakes Hazelnut. But I love their mint and raspberry hot chocolate too. It warms me up in the cold weather. Very comforting.

For those of you who make it homemade can you give some exact measurements of what you put in it. We got the Back to Basics hot chocolate maker from Bed Bath and Beyond for Xmas. We really like it but havent perfected the hot chocolate just yet. I like mine very chocolatey too.
