My sister made fudge when I was a little boy, she was nine years older than I, and she made good fudge.. my folks moved back down south, sister married a Yankee & stayed up north. No more good fudge.
Folks, as of right now we are at a 13-13 tie. I find it surprising that so many of you not only tolerate Fudge, but apparently even like Fudge. But what do I know. The world today continually surprises me. Again, so so sad.
No I am talking about the ones they use to sell at the Fort. I remember as a kid we would get a pickle from the settlement and enjoy it while watching the water parade. Since I was the youngest of the family, I learned early to fight off offers to help me finish my pickle.
They stopped selling them from a bulk container, to individually wrapped, to not at all.
I have been told they sell them at the AK, however just isn't the same.
Just a sign of change, no pickles and no more toy guns that actually shoot projectiles. I remember the muskets they use to sell at the Fort too.
Oh well, have fond memories and now an RV I just need to find time to make new ones with.
But @#$% it bring the pickles back!
Rant now over.
The ID just shows we are house divided betwen Clemson and South Carolina. I am on the losing end this year too.
