This is a type of Chinese specialty. I haven't been to a dim sum restaurant in a year but I do enjoy them. The chefs are able to so much with shrimp and dumplings. It is all delicious and I like the squid & chicken's feet.

I found it to be quite expensive. It adds up fast.

I love dim sum! But OP, you are braver than I. I could never bring myself to try the chicken feet... and my parents loved them, so I had plenty of opportunity when I was a kid. lol There's something about all those carts of food being wheeled around to the tables that I just love!

I LOVE Dim Sum. I grew up in Macau and we had it at least once a week.

My favorite dishes are cheong fun (rice noodle rolls with a special sweet soy sauce, either plain or with meat in it), char siu bau (steamed buns with pork filling), lou mai gai (Lotus leaf 'sticky' rice with pork) dou fu fa (a dessert of tofu (like jello) served with a sweet ginger-flavored syrup.

I used to eat chicken feet all the time when I was little. I'd pick some up on the way home from school. Now I don't bother. There isn't enough meat on it. :)

I try to go to Boston's Chinatown to et Dim Sum as often as possible. Maybe once a month.

I love dim sum too. I'm a very adventurous eater and I love the opportunity to eat lots of different things at one meal.
