Do you like root canals?? For me a photo is on a par with a root canal. Well maybe not that bad mabye only on a par with a filling.

NO. I have a BIL who whenever we go see my DH's parents ( yes the BIL whi is 40 something still lives at home) starts snapping pictures as soon as you pull into the drive. LAst time I told him that I was going to shove his camera up his ***.

Yes I like being photographed. I have been told that I am quite photogenic. Now here comes the strange part...I don't like people who don't know me to see my picture.

I will pose for just about any picture--but I hate candid shots where I notice the camera as it flashes and end up having that dear in the headlights look.

No, and I finally figured out why. I really feel I photograph poorly. I always look different in pictures than I do IRL.

Ever since I got my DVR, and have the ability to pause all kinds of TV shows, I figured out why I look so bad in photos. It's like being on "pause". Lots of people on TV look like dorks on "pause". I am just another one of them.

It depends for me as well. There are times that I love it, but some days ......

I do professional photography, and am usually the on the other side of the lens. As far as having my photo taken, it depends.

There are times when I don't mind being photographed and times where I do mind it.

It's funny you should ask this b/c in July, we went to my niece's wedding. I felt like I was lookin' good and feelin' fine ... and then I saw the photographer and thought "ugh" - photos. Well, the photo. thought he was taking a candid shot of me entering the reception area and I caught him and was totally glaring at him. In the photo, I'm wearing this great dress, sunglasses, etc. and have this total beotch look on my face!!! Thankfully, I had sunglasses on, so you couldn't see me glaring. The whole family thinks this photo is the greatest b/c I look like a beotchy starlet (the antithesis of what I'm like). They call it my "red carpet" photo. Honestly, I look like I'm so dang haughty and la-ti-da and I'm so not that way!!!!

I don't mind being photographed casually, like in my classroom. I detest those school studio portraits that I have to endure every year. I am always worried about how the photo will turn out that I end up looking slightly frozen. Maybe I should try my beotchy glare!??! haha!
