Banana anything rules IMO. I could almost live off the things and one of my favorite food is banana cream pie. I must try plantains someday.

I like them sliced up with some sour cream mixed with a little sweetner (used to be sugar, now splenda).

Apart from just peeling and eating them, I like them sliced with custard and one of my favourite deserts is banoffie pie.

Love them, but can not eat them raw because of a cross-pollen reaction. Because of my pollen allergy when raw they make my throat itch like flowers do. Not when cooked though
