Do you know where your birth certificate is?

We're in crisis mode here at the Blondie household, DH can't find his birth certificate. I guess he'll have to apply for a duplicate.

Do you know where yours is?

It is so frustrating when you can't find those important papers. Luckily I do know where all our birth certificates are and the only reason is that we have applied for Passports in the past 1-2 years. I put them in a "safe" place for now. Now, where are those passports?

Yep, I always know where mine is. I have both mine and DFis in a box. We had to get our marriage license a few weeks ago so I've had to keep them handy.

I've had to get copies of my own and of both dd's. right now they're all in a drawer, but I plan to put them in th safe deposit box soon.

I have a couple of copies, including the one my parents got in 68 so I could go to school For a while that was the only one I had, and I didn't want to send it in when I got my passport, so I had to order a new one.

Here is a good suggestion for parents with kids that play or will play sports. Make 20 copies and put it in a file, you'll be amazed at how quickly you'll need to do it again....

Yes, in fact we know where are passports and birth certificates are...in our lockbox in our closet. They are all ready for our next trip.

Yup, I even have the one they gave my mom in the hospital with my baby feet prints! I had to order the state one for myself when we adopted.

Yes, but we went through a similar crisis when DH was called up for active duty. We couldn't find DS#2s and we had to have it for some paperwork. Luckily the county's office (we live in the county he was born in) is literally blocks away, so it only took a day to get a copy. DH had lost the original copy when he was setting up their college accts.

Now they are all neatly in a folder in the safe.

I know where it is because I found it while I was looking for something else. Otherwise, I never would have looked there for it . I never find anything I'm actually looking for.

All important papers, birth certificates, social security cards, special pictures, and house papers are all in the firebox. We finally got tired of looking for paper work when we needed it.

Yes I do. I have it along with my Park Hopper Ticket, Visa Disney Rewards card & a Disney gift card in a very safe place.

That's where mine and our sons is located. We thought DH's was in there as well, it was many years ago. Now it's completely vanished!

Actually I do know where mine is. And DH's. And our marriage certificate as well. It's sitting in a file that is very near our computer. We needed them for our dossier for our adoption.

I have mine, DH no clue. Has never been able to find his since I have known him. Mmnnn 10 years? Poor guy, he was bounced around a lot as a kid, so I don't blame him.

In about a year, we'll hit crisis mode as we need them know to renew our driver licenses. Can't wait! I guess I need to figure out how to order a new one....

Mine is in our fire proof safe in my dh home office. All our important info is stored in there and it's definately a load off to know where these things are when we need them. Just had to pull them out a few months ago to get our passports for Ireland.
