Not sure if this is the right place to post... but my question is:

Can I take two unused, one day park hoppers and combine them into one child's ticket? If so... then how many days can I get out of them?

I guess my main question is... When you "turn in" unused tickets, do they give you the full face value of both of them toward another ticket? Or am I only able to upgrade them individually?

If anyone is going to know.... it's going to be a DIS'er! :goodvibes

They don't give any $ value towards "trading in" when you use old tickets, I think you just get to use them. I do know that you can use them at any of the parks.

If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me. :thumbsup2

Bump bump! I KNOW they will let you upgrade unused tickets.... does anyone know if they will combine the value of two tickets, though?

1) Tickets cannot be combined.
2) If you have adult ticket(s), they cannot be traded for child ticket(s) or visa-versa.
3) You can upgrade an unused ticket, but the credit is the original price.

I have no first-hand experience with this, but I would think you could use an adult ticket to get a child in (of course, you couldn't do the opposite, and admit an adult with the less expensive child ticket).

If you have unused pre-MYW tickets you can use the original Disney selling price of one ticket as a credit to the purchase price of any current ticket with a selling price equal to or higher than the value of the old ticket.

Note that if the ticket was purchased from a discounter/broker the value given is what Disney sold the ticket for to the discounter/broker and not what you paid for it.

If you have a partically used pre-MYW ticket it cannot be upgraded, but the remianing entitlements can be used. If the ticket has become demagetized, as long as the serial number string is readable a replacement ticket, with the same remaining entitlements, can be issued.

Any MYW ticket that is unused can be upgraded. Any MYW ticket that has been partially used can be upgraded as long as it is within 14 days of first use, even if all the entitlements have been used up. (If you had bought a four day, used all four, and decided that you wanted another day you would only have to pay the price difference between a four-day and five-day ticket (plus tax).)

No matter how much you paid for a MYW ticket, if you are upgrading it you will only pay the difference between the current gate price of the old ticket and the current gate price of the upgraded ticket. If it was purchase with any discount, Disney will absorb the differencee in price between what it wads originally sold for and the current gate price.

Final thing, is for any upgrades or applying of ticket value to a new ticket, only one old ticket may be applied to one new ticket.

(I work in one of the parks Guest Services and Ticket locations and know the current rules.)
