ok, here's a different kind of reply.

Yes, I'm going to.

h1 and i married in our 20's and it didn't work out, for a lot of reasons I won't go into, except maturity had a lot to do with it.

Fast forward 15 years. I am in the process of divorcing h2 for a number of significan reason. H1 and i JUST got in touch recently and our feelings are rekindled.

So as soon as the divorce is final, we, h1 and I, plan ro remarry.

My husband married his ex twice, obviously didn't work out! They get along really well as exes, but are like 2 dogs after the same bone when married. Her loss is my gain!!!

Well - thanks for all of the replies.. It sounds like at least some people have had success with this type of remarriage - according to this thread.. I'm hoping it works out this time around, but it was all so sudden and out of the blue (deciding they wanted to remarry and becoming engaged), I just don't know..

I'm keeping my fingers crossed - and keeping them in my prayers..
Not much else I can do, right?

I had a relative who was married to someone for 25 years. They were actually a very good couple but something happened and they broke up. They stayed friends for a while and then they just got back together and married.

I have a friend who married his high school sweetheart twice. It didn't work out either time. But I could have told him that in high school and saved him alot of trouble.

Yes, I do. They were married, had a child and got divorced 4 years later. Were divorced for approx. 5 years (neither remarried) and then they got back together, married again and had 2 more children. They´ve been married 10 years now and seem to be very happy.
