Do you keep the Towel Animals?

This discussion is hillarious--I am just amazed at the broad differences in peoples stories. The bottom line is this...I probably won't be hijacking any towel animals on my trip, I just don't see them making the trip back home in one piece--2nd--I can most likely figure out how to make them myself! But if you want one and you ask for one, hey...premission! And another thing is there is no way these little washclothes are costing anyone a full dollar, if anything I would imagine each one about 3 cents on average (just a little of my hotel/restaurant experience coming out)
And this statement just makes me laugh really hard..."Disney only tells those who ask yes because they say yes to just about everything." And well, doesn't that just sum up the whole conversation here...I mean really!!!

don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but if you take a disney cruise, they have classes on the ship where you can learn to make your own towel animals... ;)

I never ASKED to take them. I was TOLD to take them by the mousekeeper that knocked on my door asking me if I liked it. I think your attitude stinks implying that the rest of us that have taken our creations are theives when we were TOLD it was okay to do so.

Do you realize that you are attacking everyone? You attacked me in a previous entry. No one has tried to put you or anyone else on the defensive for doing anything... we were asked and are stating what we think, or what we were told.

Unfortunately attacks on others who are just participating in the discussion are what gets what could otherwise be interesting threads closed.

I agree about the cost. I actually decided on a dollar, because I didn't want to minimize the value in my grands eyes. Imagine being told this wonderfully done animal was only worth .03? (by the way, other than losing one eye, they made the trip wonderfully).
And about if they have germs, well, I did see some leftover ones being collected from one room, and being left in another...imagine (if you could) what type of germs it might have on it. Who knows where the hands of the original person to have it (or how many people had it) had been LOL. For myself, I don't really care, since I knew my grands hands weren't always the cleanest after a couple of hours in Disney..and the same could be said for the stuffed animals I buy for them each trip.

I want to post.......but I promised the tag fairy  See Tag <<<<over there
