Do you jiggle your leg?

Or knee/foot?

I never used to, but during quarantine I developed this habit and it’s driving me crazy. I am annoying myself! I have to actively think about not doing it. Sometimes I make my whole desk shake at work, and right now I am making the couch shake.

My brother does it, and my daughter does too, but they don’t notice that they’re doing it.

It’s not a restless leg thing, just a jiggle.

Anyone else?

My ex used to do it. Drove me crazy - he'd shake the table/couch/bed. Nothing medical, just an annoying habit.

Technicalities, but I find myself over thinking how to “jiggle” a leg. I imagine a leg being shaken and then left to Reverberate or jiggle afterwards.

I use to bounce my leg in school. I caught myself doing it again recently. Like I needed to exert that bit of energy. It just felt right 🙂

Just had deja vu. There was a topic on this maybe a year or ago if you’re interested in searching.

I used to but now that I think about it, I don't do it anymore. I used to do it when I was sitting on the couch and when I was laying in bed just as I was ready to fall asleep.

If you mean bounce my foot/leg, then yes I do. However, depending on how I'm sitting, my leg will sometimes twitch on its own, like there's a nerve thing happening. This twitch isn't all the time, and depends on how I'm sitting, like in a theater or on a plane, cramped areas, but it does happen.

I don’t but I’ve noticed my husband does it now. He works from home now and I will walk by him at his desk and both legs are going full steam.

Yes, I was doing it when I came across this thread. And I swing my foot when legs are crossed.

DH keeps trying to stop me.

Of course! Doesn't everybody? Mine is worse after I drink coffee, or am excited about something but have to sit still. And it's usually just my right leg.

My mom does it all the time. Drives me nuts and always has. I just tell her stop shaking which brings her attention to it and she stops (at least for a little bit). The worst is when it happens in the car and I swear the whole car starts shaking and makes me nauseated!

Yes. My mother and I both fidget constantly. We think its either because we're both skinny with high metabolisms, or because we both have anxiety.

Yep. Always jiggling my leg or foot, and I also chew on the inside of my lower lip. Nervous habits, and I am, apparently, always nervous, ha!

Not jiggling, usually, but I do tend to twirl my foot a lot as a fidget. I also crack my knuckles constantly.
