Do you have to request a non smoking room?

I believe CRO has non-smoking in our profile on their computers but we always double check.

I always request a non-smoking room. I just think it's a good idea to request it in advance.

Most rooms are non-smoking, however you have to request one.

Yep, you should. Otherwise you may be stuck in a smoking room. Some people don't mind one way or the other. If you don't like the smell, I'd recommend it.

I always requested non-smoking. I told them asthma problems. On all of our reservation info non-smoking due to medical condition was printed on special request.

I have never had a problem getting non-smoking room/rooms when requesting in advance.

If non smoking is what you want at ANY hotel then you should always request it. Every hotel has smoking and non smoking rooms (I work at the front desk of a hotel and my fiance runs the reservations department for 9 hotels in New Orleans. That means, we know alot about how hotels work.)

I defintely would, especially if it something that would bother you if you didn't get it!

I am very allergic, so I always have to have mine guaranteed.

And yes, there are people who've requested NS rooms at WDW and ended up in smoking rooms. Unfortunately, it's a request, not a guarantee.
