Do you have to present your KTTW card first time at dinner?

Do you just show up on the first night at dinner and show your card to indicate you have 1st or 2nd dinner? How does that work?

You just go to the door of the dining room & tell them your table number, which is on the KTTW card. They will escort you to your table.

No, you don't have to show your card. Your servers has a list of names and our server asked what our names were and I remember them checking a list. You have the sames servers throughout the entire Cruise.

If you are NOT on the Sea/Land package your rotation is printed on the KTTW card. I don't remember if your table number and dinner seating is printed on the card. BUT there will be a "dinner ticket" in all staterooms with your Seating, Rotation and Table Number on it. You could / should bring it with you to your first dinner.

When you walk into the dinning room the "Head Waiters" are there asking for your table number and then they will get a server to escort you to your table. It all works really well and is a nice way to start dinner.

When we went to embarkation day dinner earlier this month we didn't bring the ticket. Must have just plain forgotten, if we ever knew, that we were expected to. But we knew what table we were at, as it is printed on KTTW and we knew we were early dinner, as that is what we booked. So we told the head waiter at the front and he checked a list anyway and told us that we were right about where we were seated, and then someone led us there anyway.

It isn't on our KTTW card, but it was on a card with the rotaton on it in our cabin. However the head server called us in the cabin before our first dinner to tell us our table had changed. So you don't need worry about taking anything other than an empty stomach to dinner.
