Do you have to pay round trip for towncar at the beginning of trip?

I've used Ibex towncar for the last 4 trips. We have paid him roundtrip with each trip at the beginning. We have never had a problem with him picking us up for the return portion, but with all the posts lately about the return and not being picked up, I'm getting worried. We were going to try someone new for this trip, just because his website got so complicated to book and he required a credit card to book.

So, do you HAVE to pay for the entire roundtrip up front with all towncars or can you just pay for one leg?

I still have no idea who we are going to use in January. These negative posts are driving me bananas .

We used Tiffanty town car and when he dropped us off at our hotel, he ask us to pay him for both ways. We did and ask for a receipt to show that we paid in advance. At that time we gave a tip for the one way.

I believe if you want the roundtrip rate, you have to pay at dropoff. You could book 2 one ways and pay separate, but you will pay more.

We use Tiffany towncar, and have had great service. We had our reciept, but did not need it.

Our driver gave us his personal card, plus we had the # for Tiffany's. We just called to confirm, the day we left.

Every company has the right to make their own policies. Most do not require you to pay roundtrip when they drop you off on the first leg of your airport transfers. Normally when making the reservation you need to give your credit card information just to secure the reservation, like a hotel requires. Then after each transfer you can pay by cash or credit card, it's your choice. This way the towncar service (just like a hotel) is protected in case of a no show, they can still get paid for being there. You can ask what their company cancellation policy is? 24 hours, 48 hours, etc. prior to the pick up date/time. Most companies are reasonable about that.

I used Fl Tours this summer for the first time. First of all they were GREAT!!! I highly recommend them.

I did pay for both legs of the trip but got a receipt just incase there was a change of driver. They also call you 24 hours prior to pick up just to confirm everything.
