Do you have to have Genie+ to purchase "Fancy Rides"?

I plan on NOT purchasing Genie+ for our day at ANIMAL KINGDOM. However, it would be nice to just purchase FLIGHT OF PASSAGE. Is that possible? Or do I have to purchase Genie+ for that day and THEN purchase FLIGHT OF PASSAGE?

You do not have to first purchase Genie+--you can just choose the individual attraction lightning lane attractions.

You can purchase the Individual Lightning Lane rides (like for FoP) without purchasing Genie+
