Do you have plans this weekend?

Nothing special planned.....sort of

Saturday....get up at 6am to go to work until about 12pm....Then come back home and finish straightening my house (hopefully before my mother arrives).......Don't have much planned for saturday......except DS has an eyedoctor appt. at 12pm, I need to pick up pictures I got taken at Picture People for Mother Day's gifts for the Grandmas...DD is babysitting at 1-3pm...then the DD, and DS need to get to the play at 6pm and we are going to see the play at 8pm....

Sunday...if I can get the kids up we will go to church, then maybe I'll work for a few hours/ or visit with my mom...not sure what time she is leaving....Then my FIL bday party is about 2pm...and I'm supposed to have a book club meeting but I haven't read the book so I don't know if I'll go.....

Sat I'm working 9-6. Then I'll finish cleaning so the house looks respectable for Sun. I'll go to Church Sun morning, work 11-3 (love those Sun hours), then wait for everyone to arrive for the Baby Shower. It's a belated shower for my partner at work. She originally was due May 13, so we planned an early Apr shower. Due to complications, her beautiful son arrived Mar 30 via C-section. So we postponed the shower. Cheese & crackers, chips and dip, fruit and veggie platters, tossed salad and some dogs and burgers on the grill- I'll hit the veggies, salad and burgers (minus buns). Since I haven't craved any sweets, I don't think I'll have any trouble avoiding the cake.
