Do you own any?

I have a Beauty and the Beast one, a Sleeping Beauty one from Disneyland Paris and a Mickey Fantasia one - the globe got smashed on this one :( So not really a snow globe anymore :(

Yes Kaylee I have loads of them..I have the villians hourglass, beauty & the beast 10th anniversary one, the fantasia mickey one. I have a very special minnie in new york, it was only released in the disney store there..lots of mini globes.

My collection is small but perfectly shaped LOL

I have

Sorceror Mickey who was my original but he sadly has developed an air bubble :( Kaylee, is this a trend for Fantasia globes?

Belle in the Library bought in the Disney Store in Sarasota for $20 and retails for £60 here! Travelled fine home on the plane.

Peter Pan Birthday present from DH this week. This is extremely detailed and ornate, with the globe positioned over the clock face of Big Ben to great effect. It even lights up!

Steamboat WillieAlso new this week  I just love this one.

Why does everyone like snowglobes?

For me, I confess that I do love to collect things in general. What I like about them is that because they are relatively pricey, I know I can't buy them very often so it is a real treat (makes them more special) when I get one. Also they look amazing in my living room! They all have good memories :)

Yep we bought quite a few the last time we went, we bought the "Mickey Mouse March" and "100 Years of Disney magic", We bought 5 small globes, Mickey,Minnie,Pooh, etc, And then we bought a Blue and a Pink Disney Baby globe, one got smashed when we was moving but a friend brought us another home :) so this is the start of our collection they are lovely :D

I am going to start collecting these. I dropped enough hints to DH to get me one for Christmas but there wasn't under the tree :sad2: Will be bringing one back with me in June :cheer2:

I have a Beauty and the Beast one and DD bought a mini Buzz Lightyear one when we were in Florida. I also have a couple of Eeyore ones!

I wasn't brave enough to bring a big one back on the plane!

I have the cheap ones for aprox $10 lots of them. I love them - great souvenirs.

I think there is a trend for Fantasia ones :)

I forgot to add I have a Mickey and Minnie Wedding one too.

What a lovely display, Miffy:flower:

We have the one from WDW with Mickey in the globe which is sat on top of the icons of the four parks (Cindy's castle, Sorcerers hat, AK tree and Epcot sphere).

I just love snowglobes, we have decided to bring one back each time we have a Disney holiday.

Wow I love the Peter Pan one!

Thanks for posting the photos.

Wow Miffy they are spectacular.

Lovely photo's Karen..I used to have the Peter Pan, but the one with the ship from the USA..cost me a fortune when customs got it... :earseek:

I will try and post a few pictures of my display case later :teeth:

Lovely snow globes Miffy! The Peter Pan one's beautiful! Is Wendy inside the globe? I can't quite tell.

I love all the Disney snow globes, but I'm afraid they're all slightly outside my budget, I have to settle with fondling them when I go to the parks, and ogling them on this site. (Thought others might be interested, it's got photos of most of the various snow globes :) )

I have lots of little ones. My favourite one is sorceror Mickey holding the globe, with all bits from the parks in it. eg the epcot ball and treeof life. DH got me my first large snowglobe for Christmas, a Lady and the Tramp one. Hopefullly many more will follow!

Hope these turn out ok..I can't get to them individually so had to try and take them the best I can...
Sorceror Mickey and a lot of mini globes
