Pa this week end
Disney for spring break.
Trying to talk dh into disney again at value time in July.

I'm going to Disney World with my dad in April. Who knows if we'll go anywhere else...we've been talking about going to DC for a while now so we'll see.

As of this moment, no - which is very unusual. Last week I canceled our 10 day April to to Jupiter and WDW. My mom starting treatments a month ago and is too sick/weak right now.

We will wait til the Spring and take it from there. We are hoping to get two trips by the end of the year (possibility of a cruise and WDW in the fall). Will wait and see.

Happy planning everyone. It's the best part.

It IS half the fun for me for sure:goodvibes I am always baffeld by people who are not interested in the planning part (though I am grateful DH is not--means I get to do it all--well nowadays the kids like to help plan too, but I still have the most fun in the pretrip stages;)).

End of May Im flying back to MA for my sons High School graduation

Havent seen him since Oct and May is a long ways away but we do speak on the phone just about every day. Im recently divorced and he chose to stay in MA to graduate with his friends. He might be attending (going away) college with them also.

I work at Disney so Im there 3-4 times every week now

I just spent a few days at the VWL using DVC (that XDH was awarded in the divorce but my name is still on the deed)

I think we have more planned than I thought

March - heading to AZ/NV/CA - will visit the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, pitstop in Vegas (really more of a stopover since the kids will be with us), and a number of sites in CA, LA area. Convinced DH that we should use DLR as our home-base!! :woohoo:

summer - beach trip - rented a house for a week with a group of friends (20 of us including kids!)

sometime - don't have a destination yet, but DSis and I are planning to get away for a weekend together

fall - DH & I hoping to go to WDW for a few days when I have a conference there, just the 2 of us

DH and I are renting a cabin in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for a week at the end of March, with his sister and her DH. Can't wait!! We'll be gone 10-12 days total, doing some other sightseeing on our way back home.

DH and I rented a cabin 3 years ago in the same area and had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful, the mountains were awesome. There are a few things we're looking forward to doing again, and some restaurants we're looking forward to going to again, but we also want to do some things we missed last time because we simply ran out of time.

That will be our only "big trip" for this year, but we'll spend as much time as possible at our property up north from the end of April until the end of September too.

Then I'm hoping to talk DH into planning a WDW trip for January 2011, it'll be 10 years since we've been there together so it would be great to go back!! :)

You will have a great time!!:thumbsup2

We have a few trips planned,

June- Gatlinburg for a few days to visit Dollywood and a few other things.

Stone Mtn weekend trip sometime this summer.

Disney World in Dec 4th-12th:santa:

Gatlinburg Dec 19th-23rd Going back to Dollywood & to see the lights. :santa:

The most important trip to me is our trip to Disney World. We have never been at Christmas time before so I am excited. :cool1:

After going to WDW once in 2005, twice in 2006, and once in 2007, it's now been way too long since we've been there. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to be in the budget this year.

But since I had a bunch of Starwood points that were going to expire, we just booked three nights at the Westin Resort in Hilton Head over Memorial weekend. The kids loved going to Myrtle Beach last year, so it should be a lot of fun.

Not sure if we'll be able to make it work or not, but we may be doing a cruise in August for my Mom's 60th birthday.

Then I'm going to do whatever it takes to get back to WDW. Maybe spring, 2011. Our youngest will be a little over 2 by then, so it should be a fun time to go.

We (our family of 4)will be going with a group from our church to the UK in the summer. We will be taking VBS to one of our home missionaries churches there in Scotland. Also will visit Ireland and England. DH's uncle is a chaplin to the U.S. military in Mildenhall (??? spelling) and we hope we can work it out to extend our return tickets a few days and spend some time there with them before we head back home.

So looking forward to being in the UK again. Last trip was 2002.:goodvibes

The week of July 10th we will be taking a cruise on the Norwegian Jewel to the Bahamas. We're going with SIL, BIL and nephew. They've never been on a cruise (this will be our 4th), so I'm sure we'll all have a blast.

Then the week of August 15th we will be renting a cabin in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. It'll just be the four of us (DH, me, DS13 & DS14). We've never been there but it just looks beautiful. We will be taking a day each to go to Dollywood & Splash Country. And I'm sure we'll drive around to do some sightseeing. I cannot wait!!!

Yes, I'm going to Savannah with my SIL this weekend!:cool1:

We're planning a Cedar Point trip for DH's birthday in June.

We had a 7 night Disney cruise planned, but cancelled it because we have some medical expenses coming up that are not totally covered by insurance. We are currently putting some money aside for a vacation somewhere this year. It may be WDW, since we got a pin code offer. If not, then probably Chicago for a few days.

My DH and I are going to DC this weekend to visit my sister and BIL. They just moved to DC in October, so this will be my first visit to their new apartment. And it is Restaurant Week in DC, so we are going to eat at some great places.

My DH and I are also going to be going somewhere laster in the Spring. DH started a new job a few months ago and is still on "probation" where they can basically fire anyone for any reason. After 6 months, he can offically join the union, so we are going on a celebratory trip once he is off "probation". We don't know where yet --- maybe Disney, Key West, or Sedona, Arizona. I'm not planning anything until we get the official word that he is a permanent employee.

Dh and I are headed to Ireland for a week in mid-March for St. Patrick's Day/Spring Break. This summer I am planning a 2 week trip to the mid-west with our kids that will include Montana and Yellowstone National Park. I would also like to fit in a cruise to the caribbean (with this cold weather I have had tropical beach withdrawal), but that one will have to wait until sometime next fall when I can build up more vacation leave. I also want to take the kids to NY for a few days around Christmas next year.

I love to plan our vacations!! It's almost (but not quite) as fun as the trips themselves.

I'm for Paris France this year. Ooh la la. I can't wait, I've been trying to go for a few years now, I may try to squeeze in a visit to DLP if I have time.

March: Ladies conference in Gatlinburg

April: Spring Break trip to Sea World/Disney

June: Teen mission trip to Peru

Yes.

Short term: I managed to pick us up tickets to the Kentucky Derby/Oaks, so we'll be visiting Kentucky this spring (we'll see Mammoth Cave and some other sites too)

Longer term: Possibly WDW this coming fall/winter

Long term: Europe in September 2011. Italy, France, and possibly Austria. Or Iceland. Not 100% on that yet.

We are hoping to head to Disney World twice this year:

March - Saratoga Springs
December - at AKV right now, but we hope to switch to BLT or BCV

I am going to New Orleans the first weekend of March, Myrtle Beach in June, probably Las Vegas in the Fall, and my cousin just invited me to WDW for a week in May (although she has two little girls under the age of 4 that I think she's just inviting me to be a babysitter ;) but I probably won't go as I need a break from Disney). But I may crash my parent's WDW trip for a few days in October... :)
