Do you have any more strength and courage to share?

praying for you both. Hopefully you will get some good news soon and he will get on the road to recovery. My mother inlaw holds her breath every year when she has her check up for her aneursym which is on her artery to her one kidney. She has been advised if it gets bigger she will have to go to Philly to have it repaired and kidney transplant team would do the surgery. So far so good for her.

Prayers and good thoughts for both of you.

Thank you all. Whenever I need comfort, strength and courage I come to the DIS. Y'all are always here for me.

Katholyn

Kath--I've been thinking of you and praying that all would go better for your family. :grouphug: I hate when the drs give you bad news, then make you wait forever to take any further action. I think the waiting is the worst.

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. PM me if you'd like to go to lunch sometime and talk--I owe you one! Sometimes it's easier to vent a little bit to someone who isn't personally involved.

My very best to you and yours. :grouphug:
Amy

I'm keeping Wilgus in my prayers, really Katholyn you are such a sweet person. After your mother's passing it doesn't seem possible that you would have to be going through this now. Hugs to you and Wilgus and your son. My prayers are with him for a complete recovery. Waiting is the hardest part, (it can drive one crazy).

My Mom had Lung Cancer, had 2 surgeries to remove parts of her lung and has been fine for the past 5 years. The year before the Cancer she had Open Heart Surgery for clogged arteries etc... I drove to Boston everyday to be with her for atleast 6 hours out of the day with each surgery. Having family around really helps their recovery and spirit!
You wouldn't even know anything was ever wrong with her if you were to visit her today. I'm praying for the same for your Husband. :grouphug:

Kath, I will most certainly keep you all in my prayers. I can't even imagine this. I will be praying hard for you

Katholyn, absolutely prayers are coming your way! The hospitals in Ann Arbor are wonderful, from what I know about them. DH's cousin went to Michigan for medical school and then did his residency there.

I'd like to suggest that everyone say a prayer for the intervention of Padre Pio, an Italian priest, recently made a Saint by Pope John Paul II. He has performed so many medical miracles. You can read about them if you google his name. Miracles where people were so near death, went to sleep that night, and woke up fully cured the next morning.

Would that it would be true for Wilgus! Let him go to sleep tonight with his troubles and wake up tomorrow cured! What a Thanksgiving that would make for you and your family!

I believe so strongly in Padre Pio's ability to speak to God to help us with our troubles. I hope I've not offended anyone with this suggestion. I know that he was there in my Grandmother's room the night she died, three times. My DH's aunt brought him in the first time on a prayer card when she visited my Gramma. The second time was when we all arrived around dinner time. On the local Catholic TV station, there was a program on about his life. We believe this was a way of letting us know that he was there with us. The final time was when the priest came in to give her Last Rites. He started talking about the Matrix. Padre Pio was a member of the Matrix. The priest was so taken by the fact that he had shown up 3 times that night that he went to his car to get Matrix metals for all of us who were present. He had originally just brought one for my Gramma.

Hopefully, he can provide you not only with peace, but with Wilgus' clean bill of health.

Oh my gosh Katholyn I am so sorry to hear this! :sad1:

He (and you) will absolutely remain in my thoughts and prayers. You WILL get through this, hang in there. :grouphug:

You and your husband are in my thoughts and my prayers.
