Do you have any favorite CM's at the Fort?

For those of us who are regulars at FW, do you have CM's that you go out of your way to see?

Ours are:

Josephine, Pauline & Ken at Trails End
Pat - 1100, 1200 & 1300 Loop Attendant
Kelly & Mary at the Front Desk

Any others???

I forgot to mention Wilma at MTP & Clif at Meadow Pool Snack Bar!!

Ken is everyone's favorite because they almost always see him or are served by him at least once in their lifetime!

DH and I have a favorite since our first time at FW...Larry, who was working cleanup in the loops. He is really friendly and has been working at FW since it's opening. We met him through DH's cousin who turned us into RV nuts and camping at the Fort.

Yep! There's Gene who sticks those annoying notes on your vehicle if you park on the grass or have two or more cars parked at your site!! But hey...he's just doing his job & is otherwise a really nice guy.

EVERYBODY loves Ken at T.E.!!

My dad has raved about Ken at the Trail's End for at least 15 years. He always says Ken should be Disney's "Goodwill Ambassador"!

We happened to be at Disney on my Dad's birthday a few years ago, so had to make it a point to eat breakfast at T.E. then called my dad (who now lives in Maine) and asked Ken to wish him a Happy Birthday! That really made my dad's day - he still talks about it!!

Ken is the absolute best -- he always sends us off to the parks with a smile in our hearts. Can't wait to see him in a few more months!

Wonder if he reads the DISboards?

Those are some of ours too. My true love at the fort though is Miss Sundee. I wouldn't dare go to the fort and not go by and see her. It's funny how those people make the place what it is. I wonder if they all know we like them? I have never met a FW CM I didn't like as far as that goes.

Had Ken as our server this morning- he's excellent. Tee heeeee You know he's always saying that- excellent. I mentioned this board- he's famous, don't ya know?!!!

We've known Joy for years- although, we didn't see her this trip.

No he doesn't...I asked him about that last spring. I mentioned that I had heard so much about him from my "online friends" on the Fort Wilderness message board and he had no idea what I was talking about, lol.

Our favorite server at TE is Jackie. We always love going to visit with her and of corse Ms Sundee.

Whether we have Ken as server or not, I always say, 'there is celebrity Ken'. I have talked to him about his fame on the DIS before, and he always says,'I like the sound of that'!!!

One of my favorite CM's works in the kitchen at TE. I told the story before, but Willie took the time to go and get a bag of waffle mix to show me what they use!!!!!

I can't remember the name of the lady, but she works at the Trails End. She is the blonde lady thatgets the to go orders and runs the cash register. My husband said he thinks her name is Missy, but I am not sure. Anyway she is the greatest.

Sundee is our favorite! I cant tell yyou how many times I saw her pull money out of her own wallet for children who happen to stroll up on a game of BINGO. She is a good soul! HOOORRRAAAYYY FOR SUNDEEE!!!!!!!!!!

I wish at this time I could remember his name but here is my story about great customer service at the Fort. I did seek out his supervisor to complement him.

We arrived at the Fort during a wrath of God type thunderstorm, Heavy rain, wind lightning and thunder. I pulled into my loop and was just waiting for the storm to let up so home boss could guide me in. This CM comes up to me and asks if everything is alright. I told him I was just waiting for the storm to end before backing in. During the storm he guided me into my spot. He ended up drenched and I did offer him a tip but he said he couldn't take it.

Ms. Sundee of course. She nearly broke her ankle coming to see us on our golfcart ride saturday.. and my personal favorite.


Missy who is a security guard at the front gate. She's cool, and always gives me a hearty GO GATORS when we come thru.

All the castmembers at Trails End are great but we can't wait to see Donna who has become a good friend. I also want to mention a great mousekeeper in loop 2200, Anaia who fills our cabin with towel animals and runs to greet us when we come back. Fort Wilderness cast members are the BEST!!

Irene at the front desk. She was extremely kind to three drowned rats who showed up at her station.
