lol, I remember someone mentioning once before that the avatar bothered them. Maybe it was you? Anyway, it always freaked me out too! I HATED seeing that avatar! I even remember the poster's username, but I won't post it.

Seems like that would make threads all wacky, if you saw the responses to a post you couldn't see.

It's easy enough to mentally ignore the real wackos, plus I'd rather challenge their words than ignore them, especially if they ask me a question about something I've posted.

yes I do. My eyes started hurting with so much rolling that I have more than a few on ignore. Eyes don't hurt anymore.

Also I have a couple that have very long or very wide siggies.

Never had a need to, but I've decided to turn over a new leaf and begin! I have a long buddy list, however. If my ignore list ever gets close to as long as my buddy list, that's when I know I need a DIS break.

No, not now. Did years back, for two clowns. Unlike some who I try to mentally ignore (with various levels of success, LOL), these two were down right mean characters, hurt many here. And it seemed like it took forever for them to get the boot; then coming back, reincarnated a number of times, till finally getting the hint they were not wanted. I do think they are gone. Though sometimes, a few characters here make me . So now, nobody on board ignore. Buddy list? Yes.
