I really like my Hydro Flask bottles. They hold heat and cold very well, not sure how they compare to a Yeti, but I have been very pleased, and they seal shut.

Do you have a Yeti?

I have a Yeti 20oz cup and an Rtic koozie. I can tell you with my yeti cup I put ice and soda in it when we left Biloxi Beach at 8am, arrived Coronado Springs at 4pm with half a cup of soda and all the ice, left cup in truck overnight and there was still ice in it the next morning (8am). This was mid-March/spring break.

Yay for the Biloxi shout out!

Dh has a Yeti and I have an Rtic 30 oz. Look exactly the same and perform the same. In indoor air conditioned temps this summer, I've had ice or very cold water 24 hours later. Same for dh. I did run errands on Friday in 95+ temps and left the cup in the van for a couple of hours and my ice melted but was still cold. I bought dhs yeti for $40 and ordered the rtic on line for $20.

Last Sunday our neighborhood Wal-Mart had Ozark trail brand for $9.74 for the 30 oz. I was very tempted to buy several. Looked just like our cups we have.

Biloxi is our halfway point to Orlando! I usually have a free night or two at IP, and a stop at Waffle House and Belgicans is a must!

Biloxi is a good halfway point for us too. I have a Thermos. Keeps my stuff cold all day and then some. Still have ice at the end of the day.

DH bought a 30oz Ozark for $9.74 last weekend at Walmart and it works just as well with hot and cold liquids as my Yeti.

I've seen all kinds of stuff in FB recently that pretty much all the insulated stainless cups and bottles work about the same.

I love my Yeti. I have the 30oz. I wanted something that would keep my drink cold in the heat all day at my daughter's summer softball tournaments. Keeps it cold all day.

I have a 30 oz. RTIC, another Yeti-like brand. It is great. It will keep ice in it for a full 24 hours (and more). We fill it every morning and take it with us wherever we go.

A couple of weeks ago we went to an amusement park close to our house. I filled the HTIC with ice/water and left it in the van, in the hot parking lot, for 5 hours when it was 105 degrees out. When I got back the exterior was too hot to touch but it was still filled with ice!

I'm planning to buy 3 of the smaller ones for my kids for school this fall. They take a water bottle every day, but this way they can fill it the night before and have it ready to go when they go out to the bus in the am.

I too have a hydro-flask bottle; they're great. Don't have anything comparable in a cup.

I have 1 yeti cup that I bought for $30.00 - have 1 yeti koozie that I bought for around $25

I have 3 Ozark Trail cups that I bought for $9.95 each - have 1 ozark trail koozie that I bought for $9.95.

They work just the same.

I have my morning pop can in my ozark at work right now.

But can I get an Ozark Trail sticker to put on my vehicle...

I have a Yeti. I had to stop using it for my travel mug for coffee because I would pour it straight in and go to class. It would never cool to a comfortable temperature! First world problem I guess. :teeth:

My friend's family is crazy about them. They buy so much stuff that they got a cooler for almost free!

If the knock-off brands are of comparable quality I would definitely buy those. I wouldn't spend $30 on a cup(mine was a gift).

I have two yeti 30 oz, an Orca, and a knock off 30 oz. I love my Yeti and my Orca, but my knock off is not that great. The Orca and Yeti keep my drinks cold a lot longer than the knock off.

Yep they are! I was MidOhio for Indy this past weekend and my Hyrdo still had ice in it by late afternoon.

For the OP, sorry I dont use a Yeti or anything comparable. I have to keep my fluids sealed, stiff suspension and bumpy roads and open container equals stuff all over lol

I went to buy the Ozark one since they were really inexpensive but ended up with a Mossy Oak knockoff because I couldn't find the Ozark. It was about $12-$13 and the Mossy Oak came with a closable lid. I watched some of the youtube comparisons on the Ozark, Yeti, Rtic and mossy oak and they all look comparable. Apparently, Yeti's monopoly on the making of these must have expired and now inexpensive alternatives exist. Had I bought the Ozark, I found RTIC lids on amazon for $2.39 with free shipping that close to help prevent spills if knocked over.

My DH is a bit Yeti crazy, but I have heard that the RTIC brand is comparable. We have a large 30 oz cup and the 10 oz tumbler. Love that it seriously keeps your ice all day long. We also have a Yeti 65 which is an awesome camping/fishing cooler. My only complaint about the cooler is that it is HEAVY!!!!!!!
