I totally have a thing for expensive handbags. It started like 11 years ago when I worked in the handbag department at Macy's. Ever since then, it has been downhill. I am trying to find a spring/summer bag and last night I was drooling over this Coach Soho Twill Stripe bag and OMG, I can not believe this a Burberry Bag

DH as a thing for Palm Pilots. He should be walking in the door any minute from work (Staples) with his 4th one:rolleyes:

Just wondering about anyone else, the most popular one I hear of is a shoe thing, where people have dozens of pairs of shoes LOL!

I have a "thing" for theme parks..LOL...I just love them...and its an expensive "thing" too:eek:

WDW is definately my "thing"...sometimes when I shouldn't.

Yes I'm a self proclaimed purse snob! My latest addiction was Brighton. I bought 4 of them off of ebay in the past month. If you look really carefully and pay attention you can really get some great deals on authentic ones on ebay.

Another handbag addict here! Can you have too many handbags? ;) Brighton was also my latest kick! My DH got me a fabulous wallet/purse for my birthday from Brighton and I love it. Even when I get a new one I am already looking for the next one.. it's an addiction for sure..:D

I look at handbags as a necessary evil. I wish I didn't have to carry one at all, ever! Sometimes, for shopping, I just stuff my credit card in a (safe) pocket and my keys and leave my bag concealed in the car. I feel so free!! It makes it easier to hold the little one's hands, too.

My SIL has a $400. Coach DIAPERBAG!
WOW! I'm glad I don't have this "thing"!

Sorry:confused:

I'm a sucker for coach. An absolute sucker. It was horrible making a college program salary and being forced to live next to a Coach Factory outlet!

I have a couple of larger leather purses, their denim twill demi bag, and I just got a hamptons stripe totebag. I could probably pay for another semester of college after all of that, but oh well!

My mom subsidizes my habit -- she's into shoes. :)

The purse I am using now cost me $5 on a Wal Mart clearance sale so, no, I guess I don't have "a thing".

The closest thing to having "a thing" would be for my Christmas village houses and accessories. At least I can only get in trouble a few months out of the year!

I have a thing for clocks. Not sure why I just love them. Have more than anyone i know. Little ones big ones mini ones you name it. In my kitchen I have 3 not counting the one on the mirco or the stove, in the dining room I have one full size and 9 or so minis, in the living room I have 3 full size ones. and I won't bore you with the rest of my house but lets just say I never need to wear a watch.
My one wish is to find one with the 12 oaks quote on it from gone with the wind, Time is what life is made of

I love coach bags but can't buy the spring one I want cause I AM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!:D

I have a thing for finding cute purses on sale! :)

I just got an adorable Steve Madden bag for $19 and another bag that was originally $109 for $8.87 - I love good clearance deals!

this "thing" for different purses. I buy mine at Wal-Mart and use ONE until it breaks. :) I just cannot imagine having to take everything out of my purse to put it all into another one just to match my outfit or something. Good thing we're not all alike! ;)

My "thing" is shoes, that are on sale. :p Oh, and sterling silver jewelry, QVC sterling to be exact.

I just bought a purse last week. Although, I don't think it's meant to be a purse?????? LOL! I think it's meant to be an overnight bag (It's called "The Everything" and has all sorts of compartment in it and can be unzipped and hung up for easy access to everything), but it's small enough for me to use as an everyday purse until it breaks. LOL! :p

I had a "thing" for Salvatore Farragamo shoes, but once I had children, I couldn't justify spending $300 + on a pair of shoes. Now I spend $10 to $15 at Payless! (Of course, I don't work outside the home anymore either!)

Like Mishetta, I had a shoe thing. Now that I'm out of school and working, I actually have less discretionary income than I did before (a HUGE thanks to my mom and dad who are the most generous people alive), so now my shoes are much cheaper. I do take good care of my shoes though, so I still wear the expensive ones I've got too. My favorites are these Donald J. Pliner leather boots I've got (they are low boots, not the kind that come up to your knee--I'm way to short for that, LOL).

I also have a Disney resort thing. I love to stay in the deluxes and even concierge when the budget permits. I save like crazy (I hardly buy any other stuff) to afford my Disney trips, and for some reason the resort plays a big part in my love of WDW. :)

I am so glad to hear so many others have the same handbag addiction that I have LOL. I am thinking I might have to check out Brighton bags:D

I did not mention my thing for Disney, my handbag addiction does not even come close to my Disney addiction:D :D :D
