Do you have a theme song?

There was a series on years ago called Ally McBeal. In one episode she talked about having a theme song.

I have one. It's "I feel lucky" by Mary Chapin Carpenter. It's an odd choice for me since I don't really like country music, but it is very upbeat and the message that you control your attitude and thus control your life.

So anyone else have a theme song?

"Goody Two Shoes" by Adam Ant and "My Place in this World" by Michael W. Smith.

Adam Ant's song b/c I don't drink (can't stand the taste of alcohol), don't smoke sick , don't follow the latest fashion trend, etc.

Michael W Smith's song b/c back then I was a teenager and didn't know where I belonged. I was looking for "my place in this world".

I've found my place, so now it's just "Goody Two Shoes" for me.

Shy from the musical Once Upon a Mattress is what I would usually claim, but Because of You by Kelly Clarkson has fit in the past, and I think Michael Bubblé's I Just Haven't Met You Yet could work, too.

But I've actually told people Shy is my theme song before...

What an interesting project...I could have my students choose a theme song and talk about why it fits for them....

Haha I could have a whole soundtrack instead of a theme song, but for right now we'll stick with the Wacken Anthem(We Are the Metalheads) by Doro, since I'll be there in 3 weeks and I can't get it out of my head.

I cracked up when I saw this thread. Yesterday I was on a 2 1/2 hr. long drive with my kids and we were singin' with the radio and discussing favorite songs. My DD said to me that Beyonce's Single Ladies is my song. It was so funny because I asked her, what about your dad? She said I guess we need to get you a new song. I do love the video and wish I could have ever danced like that

She also said her favorite is Kelly Clarkson's Walk Away. I think it is most appropriate when her brother is around!

I think we share the same song!!!! I had that as my ringtone for years on my old cellphone and everytime we go to Epcot I have to do the Segway demo so I can sing this to my daughter.
