Do you have a personal scent?

Are you one of those people who have a personal, signature scent? I'm not talking about an overpowering stink, just a hunt designed to tickle the senses!

I'm an Armani man :) It's expensive, but I don't slather it on, so it lasts :)

The thing is, I think it's nice to have a personal scent. The power of smell is very strong and can evoke strong emotions, such as the feelings I get when I smell my ex-s perfume past (not all bad, happily!)

You mean like Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear? I always wanted to smell like strawberries.

Nothing specific, but often I smell minty. I use a Dove Men+Care face wash that has a musky aftershave like smell that includes some menthol. I prefer to wash with the peppermint version of Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap. It's natural peppermint oil and is a little bit tingly; I leave it at that.

I have worn Oscar by Oscar de la Renta (perfume, body powder and lotion) for the past 25 years. I think is smells fresh and light. BUT.... one of my middle school girl students just told me that I smell like the women's shoe section at Gander Mountain :crazy2:. She assures me that this is a good thing, but it may be time to rethink my choice of perfume!

I wear either the Sea Salt and Fig perfume from Old Navy, or Tommy Bahama Island Life.

My signature scent is Obsession by Calvin Klein. I got hooked on it in 1988 when a friend who was wearing it walked by my office door and the scent just wafted in. Occasionally one of my daughters will borrow a scarf and she'll burrow her face in it and say "Mmm...smells like Mommy!"

My DH is an Armani man also. I don't know how much he likes it. I think he mostly wears it for me. It's my favorite men's cologne. If it was solely up to him, he probably wouldn't wear any cologne.

Moonlight Path...Bath and Body Works....has to be something light, DH is sensitive to strong perfumes

My grandmother wore Heaven Sent. It has a bit of an old lady vibe, but I keep some to spritz on when I'm feeling down or anxious or worried. It's getting harder to find. It makes me feel close to her. When I was going for test results or treatments with my Mom when she was fighting her cancer battle if it was a particularly tough day I'd use it and she'd say, "you smell like my mother-stop worrying!"

I am and have been, most of my adult life, a Shalimar girl. I always smell a little like vanilla.

I don’t wear perfume all the time but when I do, it’s Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. I’ve been wearing it for years.
