Do you have a park you have to hit first?

Not surprising that about 75% of responses indicate MK first, always first, no matter the circumstances. I'll bet this is true for non-DIS members as well.

On past trips, MK and EP are probably split evenly as our first parks. Once we went to AK first.

My cousin says her family's tradition is to hit one of the water parks first.

Nope. We decide where we're going depending on what time we estimate we'll arrive & sort of follow the easywdw calendars. If we're arriving later I like to hit a recommended park. We do tend to like to finish up at MK but it's not a do or die thing. If we're staying at BWV or BCV we'd likely start with Epcot. This next trip we're driving - unsure of our arrival time but hopefully we'll drive far enough on Friday to only have about 3-4 hours drive on Sat. We're staying at Poly but we're starting at HS because it was a recommended park.

It depends on where I am staying but usually MK. If I were staying at an Epcot resort I might go there first.

We are staying in December at CR. Love being so close to MK.

Yacht Club should be a blast. Hoping to stay there next spring. I think having the access to Epcot will make for a fun trip. Enjoy yours!

we loved, loved, loved the contemporary. we wouldn't even consider another resort but we wanted more food options and having epcot AND downtown disney nearby was the deciding factor. i hope to go back to the CR again... we all loved it and hope you will too!

We usually drive and get to WDW around 4:00PM. We check in and unpack and head to MK for a quick bite, a couple rides and Wishes. With FP+ and NBFPs we can get a lot done.

The first couple of trips with my son, it as MK first and last. Now, I don't worry about starting with MK. We do arrival day with only 3 or 4 hours in a park, and I just choose whatever fits our overall plan best. I still always to MK last though.

Too many variables for us to be consistent on where we start or end. It depends where we are staying, if we have hoppers/APs or not, the actual time of year we are going and when we are going to Universal (before, after or during). August looks like MK or AK first (8 am wild africa trek is making me rethink a late night MK arrival day) and then either HS or MK last. I plan to have a tiny bit of spontaneity and ask if kids want to do JTA or SotMK again the night before and just get whatever scraps of FP+ are left for the last day.

We have always done Epcot on our first park day. Probably will again on our 2017 trip (it will be a Wednesday).

We have started trips at MK, AK and Epcot. I've enjoyed all of them. We always end a trip with MK.

We absolutely love to start our trips at Epcot! Typically, we go to MK the next day. In June 2015 we started at DHS and it just didn't feel right, but we wanted to try Star Wars Weekends and it was the only way we could fit it in. We find Epcot so relaxing and I don't know, running on to Spaceship Earth really makes it all real, I'm there!

Our first and last park days are always MK. Two days at EPCOT, one each at DHS and AK somewhere in the middle. And we're hoppers, so we get extra time at MK and EPCOT in there as well.
