Do you have a "nap" ride?

Why were you riding attractions at a crowded family theme park with a high fever? Were you not concerned that others could catch your illness?

I had bacterial sinusitis (which is an opportunistic infection that I got because my allergies went haywire in april in florida) that had been treated for more than 24 hours with Rx antibiotics. I wasn't contagious, but i *was* miserable.

Ellen would do it for me except we always do Future World in the morning when I am fresh. But by mid-to-late afternoon we are usually in the vicinity of American Adventure and/or France and that is a sure fire recipe for sleepy time.

I don't have anything that "puts me to sleep" but if it's later in a trip and I'm exhausted anyway I might find my head nodding in Impressions de France or The American Adventure.

Hall of Presidents and American Adventure, Muppets 3-D, Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, just about any attraction with a non-moving seat ;) Except for Philharmagic - I love it too much, and the apple pie smell keeps me from nodding off even if I'm exhausted.

I'm not capable of staying awake at the American Adventure...I've tried and failed. I also have fallen asleep at HoP before (but can make it through). It's great for a little break!

I've only been to Disney World once (so far). The American Adventure was the only thing that I had trouble keeping my eyes open for. I wasn't even tired when we did it!

I know we're talking about WDW but my nap ride is Pirates of the Caribbean in DL. (I'm from CA). The very first time we went to WDW I couldn't wait to get on Pirates to take a recharge nap. That ride was over so quick. DL version is much longer. My kids know when we get on that ride at home (DL) momma's definitely going to sleep. As a matter of fact I purposely request to ride it just so I can have a quick recharge lol.

Muppet Vision and Mickey Philharmonic are big rest your eyes for a few minutes attractions.

I am guilty of falling asleep in Impressions de France.... oh, and American Adventure, too. LOL!

My kids always laugh, because there are certain rides I go on just so I can get a quick nap in. They call them my "nap rides".

"Oh, it's about that time, mom need a nap ride."

my nap rides:

Carousel of Progress
Figment
It's a Small World
Great Movie Ride
Pirates of the Caribbean
Haunted Mansion
Spaceship Earth
The boat ride in Mexico
Tomorrowland Transit Authority

And a few more....basically, any ride lasting 15-20 minutes (sometimes even 10) that is slow moving and in AC.

WOW, shocked by some of those.

Small World = night terrors, no way I could sleep.

Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents and American Adventure would be my nap/rain spots ... AA was a solid deep sleep. Ellen's Energy ... actually provides beds since there are so few guests everyone gets their own bench. They should include pillows and blankets.

Hall of Presidents every single time. I like(d) it, but I just can't stay awake. Luckily I wake up right before the end.

I don't know how, but I usually fall asleep during Spaceship Earth. I love that ride, but we usually hit that on our way to our afternoon nap and I can't keep my eyes open.

Last time I rode Ellen's Energy Adventure, I did so specifically to take a nap. My DD and I sat down in a row, and I was going to seriously lay down and take a good nap. Right before the ride started, another family came and sat in our row. 425 empty rows for the ride, but let's sit with another family. Ugh.

Haunted Mansion if I get stuck at that spot where you go backwards and lean back, which has happened to me several times. Best cat nap!

I have only been to WDW twice, and the only thing I fell asleep on was CoP.
If Ellen is still there in November, I hope to try it and see if I make it through!

COP, Ellen's, HOP

But definitely not HM. I love that ride too much to ever fall asleep while riding on it.

American Adventure every time. First my eyes get heavy and before you know it having a happy nap! Now i try to get a seat in the back of the theatre.

Hall of Presidents. And I used to teach US History to high schoolers so my DH never lets me live it down.
