Growing up we had one, but I haven't had a garden in many years. I know a lot of people love their gardens, and find them very relaxing to work in.
What about you?

No but DD wants to grow one. I'm not sure we really have the room. She wants to grow okra, corn, green beans, tomatoes, and zucchini (well I want that). I'm hoping if we let the kids do it they will be more inclined to eat the veges.

I tried having one, but it was more work than having kids. My gardening skills are declining rapidly, too. Can't even get a handle on my flower beds (weeds, ivy, etc.) I kind of dread spring.

We don't have a garden, but my DH grows BEAUTIFUL roses. He just knows what to do with them.

Yes, I've got a front garden, a back garden, a side garden, a vertical garden and planter boxes around our back patio. I love to spend time in the garden, but now that DS is 2, he wants to "help" mommy with the garden  , so they might not turn out as nice as they have in past.

Yes I have a garden. I plant annuals every spring and then again more hearty flowers for winter (our winters are pretty mild).

dh started one last year. He just retired and he really enjoys it. It gives him something to do and we get a lot of food out of it:thumbsup2

I live in Kansas and have a big yard and my answer is "Of course I have a garden". Veggie garden, rose garden, 6 other seperate flower beds. Lots of work but I love it. I start in March and everything does well until it freezes. I just quit my job (tomorrow's my last day) to go back to college and work on my teaching degree and my masters so we will see how much "Garden time" I will have.

Nope two black thumbs here and I don't like anything about digging in dirt, Bugs scare the beegeebee's out of me. Sister has one she loves to garden so I get to reap the benefits, works for me:thumbsup2

No, but I really want one. I have no experience with one at all and can't tell the difference between a weed and a carrot.

Before I "retired" and to have my babies over six years ago, I used to have a very creative job. Gardening fills that void for me. I love doing the research, the planning, the shopping, starting seeds in February, and coming up with heavy jobs for my husband. Because I live on what is considered a "city lot" (wider than the standard 25' but still less than 50' wide) I am running out of projects for the back and sides. The front is next.

Yes, I have always grew up with fresh veggies and flowers everywhere.
Come and join us on the Flower and Garden Board.
I will be hosting another seed exchange maybe towards the ending of Feb./March, so come and join us.

We have had a garden almost every year for the past 31 years.

One year I shared a half-acre garden with my MIL.

We have cut the garden down in size over the past few years though, since I no longer can and freeze things from it.

Now we usually just plant a few tomato plants, bell peppers, a row of cucumbers, and a row of flowers (Zenias mostly). DH has some ground cherry plants out there too that went to seed, so there will be more of those this year so hopefully enough for a pie or two. Ground cherry pie is his favorite kind of pie, and he doesn't get to have it very often since not many people grow ground cherries.

Yes, I have a front and back garden and planters down the side in the driveway. We do butterfly gardening to attract several butterflies to our area.:butterfly I find gardening a very relaxing hobby! Can't wait for spring to come!:rose:

We have a small box garden. We have grown corn, tomatoes, zucchini, strawberries, broccoli and pumpkin's. It was actually DS idea.

My in laws have 14 acres and a GORGEOUS garden, lots of work! I have to say nothing is more fun watching my FIL and DS wear matching overalls and hats and get out there and pick veggies! I cant wait to go see them again soon so we can pick veggies.
I grew tomatoes in pots last yr for DS. He LOVES tomatoes and could them morning noon and night. Tried pumpkins but figured out that I need to do something with my soil to get them to grow, people who used to own my house raised exotic birds and we put the pumpkin patch right underneath where their birds cages used to be. Im sure all the bird droppings had to mess up the soil a bit. Ill get it tested this yr before we try again.
