I have two Christmas CDs that I play continuously whenever I'm in my car. I just can't get enough of them! One is Jimmy Buffett's Christmas Island and the other is the soundtrack to the movie Christmas With the Kranks.

Both CDs are very upbeat and not really your traditional Christmas CD. I seriously think I'm going to wear the tracks down and have to buy replacement CDs.

Have you found a Christmas CD that you play a lot?

The Barenaked Ladies "Barebaked for the Holidays". Like your choices, it's not a traditional one. And it has one of the most beautiful songs: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings, that they sing with Sarah McLachlan.

Vince Guaraldi's "A Charlie Brown Christmas". I listen to this one alot, and it's a must for when we're decorating the Christmas Tree!

I bought the Regis Philbin Christmas CD and I played it once. :Pinkbounc We have a radio station that started playing 24 hrs of Christmas music the week before Thanksgiving so I'll listen to that when I am in the car, but not all the time.

Now if I still had a turntable I would be playing all my old Christmas records. I wish I could find them on CD's.

Yup! Merry Christmas with Love by Clay Aiken. Played it over & over last year. Playing it a lot this year.

One of my all time favorite Christmas cd's is Mariah Carey's "Merry Christmas". I'm not a huge fan of hers, but this entire album is her at her best, and she sings every song beautifully! All I Want for Christmas is one of my favorite non traditional Christmas songs!

DH and I re-discovered a few nights ago this wonderful CD someone gave us a few years back. It's recorded by an artist we're not we're familiar with. We'd never bothered to play it, but finally decided to open it and take a listen. Ooooh, it's heavenly! Each song sounds like a music box tune and it's of all the old traditional songs most people are so fond of. Can't get enough of it! :goodvibes

Of course. Brian Setzer's new "Dig that Crazy Christmas". It's just incredible.

Disney's "Holiday Wishes" CD. I got it last week in the park. It reminds me of the fun I had at MVMCP

I have my Time/Life Treasury of Christmas and my Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas CD's loaded into the CD player. They are on quite often. We also have a radio station that plays 24 hour Christmas music from Dec 1 to Dec 26th.

I havent actually played my CD's.....I have been hooked on the XM radio's Holly Station.

My favorite is the Carpenter's Christmas Portrait, but I also like Michael W. Smith's Christmas CD.

At the top of my playlist is Raffi's Christmas CD. It is just so simple and sweet. Songs like "Must Be Santa" and "There Was a Little Baby".

I also listen to the soundtrack from "The Christmas Shoes". Our church did that play a few years back and I have been hooked on the song ever since.

Another vote for Barenaked for the Holidays. I love that CD. I've also been loving the Target Sounds of the Season CD for this year. I love the Jason Mraz track, Let It Snow. I never get tired of the Charlie Brown Christmas CD either.

Same here - Christmas is not the same without Mariah. We can't put up the tree without that CD playing. I have worn out 2 of them already. Fixed that and downloaded onto my Ipod and it plays continuosly all day long LOL! And AIWFC is my fav song of all time! When my dd was born I would dance with her in my arms singing the song. Now that she is 10, whenever it comes on she perks up and we dance still. Even in the car, mall, etc., whenever it comes on she says - "Mom our song!" All I have to hear is the bells in the begining and I get teary eyed thinking of her as a baby.

My two all-time favorites are A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack, and the first Harry Connick Jr. Christmas CD (didn't like the second one as well). I play those all the time!
