Do you have a 2010 vacation that you haven't planned and reserved?

The thread on the planners got me thinking. Is there anyone out there who's still in the "thinking maybe" stage of a 2010 trip to WDW?

Well we have a few points left so I may still make a reservation for a couple days in the fall- I have my 3 main trips already booked (as far as rooms) but I haven't done dinning for any of them and 1 is in June- I am still waiting to see if we have anyone joining us- but we plan on grilling a few days and won't be worrying about getting our first choice of restaurants. Now I will need to figure out my dining for the Nov trip soon so I can book at 180 days.

We had taken our 2010 vacation during Feb. - a cruise with WDW before and after-(the way to go IMHO!)

Then we just found out our college freshman will be awarded a 3 year full ride scholarship through AFROTC! We now have a good chunk of change that we don't have to spend, but had set aside, so I made reservations for WDW for this summer with my sister- only two nights.

I really don't like the heat, but I'm going to give it a try!

Yes, we have a "bunch" of points still to use and will. We are able to enjoy spontaneous trips several times each year, in addition to our multiple planned trips.

I just e-mailed my DIL to see if she and the grandkids would like to get away at any time this year for a trip. DS will probably have to work. Also, DH and I are trying to coordinate work schedules to get in a trip or two.

We just bought AKV (direct thru Disney) less than 2 weeks ago
Even before we bought, we decided we wanted to take our next trip to DL. At first, I thought we would take that trip Spring 2011, but last night I suggested we go to DL this October and WDW in the Spring and he liked this idea I'll have to double check tonight if DBF is 100% on board with this so I can call MS stat - I know VGC fills up fast since it's the only DVC resort in DL and I'm already past the 7 mo mark Hope it all works out - last Disney trip was April 2009 and I can't imagine waiting til Spring 2011 for the next one

Is there anyone out there who's still in the "thinking maybe" stage of a 2010 trip to WDW?

We recently added a previously unexpected Oct trip to WDW via RCI. We weren't planning to go at that time -- it just sorta fell into our laps. We are now adding the 'planning' around it (air, ADRs, invite people to join us, etc.).

Other than that -- the focus of our planning is DLR.

We are still on the waitlist for a Sept @ GCV for a D23 event at the Disneyland Hotel. Have two nights booked in a 1BR but are hoping for 3 nights in a studio. May switch to 3 nights in the Disney Resort Collection instead if the waitlist doesn't fill before our banking window.

We also have 3 days remaining on our Costco DLR hoppers which expire in August. I'm watching one of our other timeshare for random open nights between mid-June through Aug in order to catch the World of Color.

I've got my 2 trips booked already, BCV in Sept and VWL in Dec. I have about 12 points to bank for next year.

we are hoping for an early dec trip. It really depends on resort availability when we call in two weeks. if we can only get ssr we will wait list but wont buy airfare unless we get something we like.

I actually have already done an unplanned WDW weekend this year in February. I would love to do another one, but since we have nearly 30 DVC nights planned through the rest of this year, I must go on and begin planning 2011!

I was in this phase but took the plunge and booked a May 4 day weekend last week. I even had one of my waitlist requests come through already (AKV). We are booked right now for another trip in December.

Just became members a week ago and immediately booked a trip for October. Happy we were able to get a 1 Bdrm at AKV, but hoping that the waitlist for a studio at BWV comes through only because we are running the 1/2 marathon and want an easier trip back to the room as it ends in the wee morning hours. Hoping for some pixie dust to come my way!

Yes..... we still might go in Oct. for a few nights to try the MNSSHP. Not sure since we just decided to go to WDW/Vero in July. Still planning that trip.

DH has "tentative" plans for business in Orlando in October and I want to make ressies but would have to borrow (or transfer points from DBIL) and I am SO nervous there won't be any room left for us by the time I can book. Of course I would stay at a value if it was a value or stay home, but I'm hoping it will all come together yet. Can't book airfare until mid-May so we will send some pixie dust your way if you'll do the same for us!

We haven't booked anything on our 2010 points yet. Work changes our project schedule for fall every other day, so we haven't been able to set any trips. Fingers crossed we can find a studio somewhere during Food & Wine, if schedule permits! Otherwise we may bank. Hard to say yet.

I'll be sure to tell you if my reservation comes through. The woman at MS was so nice today and told me I could call back frequently to check the availability for standard view at BWV, but I feel too guilty to do that - it's the Catholic guilt in me. We'll see what works out! Hope your trip comes through.

Yes, we did ,layed down all 400 points for a 14 day 1 bed room villa at OKW May into June.........Got to thinking , man it would be sweet to back off on the first 5 days [134pts. rent them out at $ 10 per pt. and put the money toward the cruise which is about $3,100] and do a 4 day cruise on the Wonder, come back to OKW for 9 days for some " R & R ". Just had to talk the DW into it.She said this morn. B-4 leaving for work " GO-4-IT ". But a funny thing happen today, my old 72 hour wait and see is the want-greater than the need brain kick in. And you guessed it.............it said NO! So all I can say at this point in time is: Move over Mickey cause the Hoosire DADDY is coming home for 2 weeks in May.................and I am about $ 2,000 richer too.
