Do you go to all four parks on return visits?

I am very excited to be leaving for WDW in less than two weeks!
We are staying for 5 nights and this is our 7th visit. On each of our previous visits we have visited all 4 parks. This time I am trying to make it a more leisurely vacation and budget friendly. I have only planned for 1 day at Epcot, 1 day at MGM and 1 day at MK and attending MNSSHP. I can't help feeling that this is Disney taboo. I am not going to AK (my least favorite of the parks) and I am only doing MK for 1 day. That leaves us with one full free day and 3/4 of a free day on our arrival day.

Does anyone else not do all 4 parks on return visits to WDW and keep some free days open?

We usually do 3-4 days at each park except AK we do 2. We go for two weeks.

We won't visit AK each time we visit. We are only going in Dec to ride EE. I've only allotted 1/2 day. The other parks we usually send 3 days at each, but break up the days by hopping parks.

We generally go for about two weeks so we have plenty of time for a nice leisurely visit. We always do all four parks, but since we have plenty of time, we like to go to a park in the morning, go back to our resort in the afternoon and then go back out in the late afternoon/early evening.

I'm thinking of skipping MGM on our next trip. Well actually, I'm thinking of going only one evening for Fantasmic. I'd rather have more resort time.

As we have our Favs at all 4 parks we try to hit them all.

We have been enough now to have done everything but what becomes new before our trip so we make sure we hit that first ,then favs, and then whatever else we can get in.

When we do the full week in the summer we make sure we hit all the parades and fireworks

We are a middle-aged couple so probably not the norm for these boards, but we almost never do all four parks. Our trips are short, usually 3-4 days. (I can't imagine spending two weeks at Disney -- who ARE all you people with so much vacation time!! Lucky.) Last trip we did MGM and Epcot. Trip before that we did AK and MGM. Upcoming trip we'll be sure to do MK since it's been a while.

We ALWAYS do the MK and usually spend the most time here. Then it is usually a toss up between Epcot and MGM. Sometimes we hit both and sometimes it is just one or the other. AK is hit or miss, as we will sometimes spend a half day here and sometimes skip it altogether. We have opted to skip it the last 2 or 3 trips.

I've always done all 4 parks (4 different visits). My sister and I went a few years ago for a 4nt/5day visit and we did NOT go to MGM. I'll be there over Thanksgiving this year for a week and we will go to every park. We all have our favorites. It saddens me to see people say AK is there least favorite. I love AK, and personally don't know if I could rank them. :)

If I skipped any park it would be MGM. I haven't done it yet, but I might in the future.

MGM is my non-favorite. Will not get a chance to see it on short trip in November and do not have it on my list for next October either. Now ... when I go back again after that ... maybe.

We aren't going to AK next time either and I'm thinking of not doing MGM. I'd rather spend an extra day at MK.

Since we don't get to visit every year, we do visit each of the 4 parks. I have found that we give ourselves "permission" to skip some of the attractions. On our October trip, we won't do several of them at MGM (Indiana Jones, Backlot tour, for example). Seems like the more we visit, the more we like to take our time and just live the "experience". We love to take our time to watch the live action in the World Showcase.

Almost everytime we have gone to WDW we have visited all four parks. Our one exception was a quick one day visit years ago and then we went to the Magic Kingdom for a day.

We just hit our favorites in each park and sometimes we will visit a "not at the top of the list" attraction or show if the timing is perfect.

We always do MK, EPCOT and MGM.

We visited AK for the first time in 2004 for a few hours one day - we don't plan on visiting again during this year's trip. We mainly went because DD wanted to ride Kali River Rapids. I know EE is all the rage now but neither DH nor I do rollercoaster rides. Heck, Goofy's Barnstormer scares me!!

We do not hit every park on every trip. On our last trip, DM, DDs and I skipped AK, and DW and DS skipped Epcot. On the coming trip with just DW and I, we do not have AK in the schedule. When we go with the family next July we will probably hit all the parks and most likely will take a resort day somewhere in the middle.

We are about to have our third major WDW trip of this, our
Special Disney Year. My mom is retired and I'm in grad school which is why we can wiggle in ten to twelve day trips, this next one in Nov. being the final of three. As we did X-Mas & NY's, and Mem Day (beginning of summer), and now Thankgiving, we will be able to say we've hit some of the prime times (and me and my DS went over Easter weekend too). We have seen RECORD crowds. And now, we will go to all four parks--with some attractions not making the list. Indiana Jones for example, the studio backlot tour, Lights Motors Action at MGM off; HM, CofP, CBJ at MK off; SE, UofE off at Epcot; you get the idea. But believe it or not, in the massive times we were there before, we still missed some things! So this time, we're going to dally our way through the World Showcase, go on Test Track & MS: orange, do a lot more people watching, CM chatting-up and so on. See the addition of Jack to PoC. Ride EE early. I could just go on and on....

We skip AK every other time we go. We will be going this time though, my parents are joining us and they are first timers.

We often skip AK. We'll be going to all four parks on our upcoming trip since we've never done EE before.
