Do you go outside in your underwear?

DS19 is home form college this weekend. Last night he took a shower getting ready to go out with friends. He realized something he needed was in his car parked in the driveway. He went out in his boxers to get it!

When DH said something to him, he acted like this was normal! LOL!

I wonder if he'd feel the same way if DH & I went out like that.

well, I'll admit to taking the dog out in the front yard in my nightgown and bare feet! What can I say....I'm lazy! but I always look to see if my neighbors are outside first! LOL!

Our neighbor does though. He's about 75 or 80 years old, and every morning like clock work he goes out to get the paper in his hardhat and boxers. In the winter he'll wear a robe, but he always has his hardhat on. Nevermind the poor man has never worked a day in construction!

Something tells me your DS would not be happy if his parents decided to grace the neighborhood with their undies, Mattsmom!

My brother who is 18 does the same thing and he's being doing it for a while. I think he believes that boxers are outdoor wear as well.

If you went out in your underwear your DS would never admit he knew you again in his life...hehehehe....I do not make it a practice to go out like that, but my DS when he was in college did run out one day also to his car for something early one morning, and his DAd had just one thing to say to him....PUT SOME CLOTHES ON....

Well....it depends where yer live I think....if you've got neighbors within sight....I know I wouldn't.....fortunately....the north end of the farmhouse is very rural....no neighbors....sooooo....I guess I'd have to say yes I have....upon occassion

At least I always make sure that the hatch is closed before I go out thou!

My son will be 20 at the end of the month and he does this all the time...only his car is parked in front of the house in the street! He doesn't think twice about it either!

LOL Thinkin I'd invite over some close female friends and break out drinks and when he shows up at the window everyone go outside and just start laughing and pointing in his direction. A friend had a neighbor show himself "accidently" and he had the nerve to ask if she had seen anything.....she said "Nope there wasnt anything worth seeing" Needless to say he never did that again.

I have been known to go out on the back patio and sip some coffee while surveying the morning on a fine summer day... in my underwear. Of course, my nearest neighbor is about 1/4 of a mile away. I can just see the top of their house from my back patio if I look hard enough.


Thank goodness no one is around to see. Not a pretty sight I am sure.

I have been known to make a quick dash out to my truck to put something out there for the next day only wearing my Scooby boxers and a baggy tshirt. But my truck is only about about 15 steps from my front door. And I only do that around 11:30 or so at night, occasionally.

It's not unusual for me to walk down to get my paper in a t-shirt and undies...of course I have to time it right, or I run into the high school kids waiting for the bus!!
