I drive a Neon named Brocktoon.

I once had a Jeep Cherokee whose odometer got stuck at 666 for about a week - I nicknamed it Deviljeep

Thought about getting personalized plates at the time, but didn't want anybody to think I was a devil worshipper, or anything like that.

Never named a car before that, or after that. Didn't want to "force" a name on any car.

My current car is Blue Belle (Belle for short). It is a blue Honda Civic and the color is pretty close to Belle's blue dress.

My old car was Little Green. obviously a green car.

My parent's car is Silver Streak.

One of their old ones was taxicab since it was yellow. I hated that car then and I still hate the thought of that car!

My DD18 names all of our cars.

She had an RX-8 for awhile that was named Carl. When we sold it, she informed the new owner that his name was Carl!

DH now drives a 2002 Black Explorer and the girls named it Jacob Black. It's funny because DH will say, "are we taking Jacob?"

DD16 drives a Camry and her name is Cameron....

I have a Blue Dodge Ram 2500, and the girls just call him Big Blue.

My DD (9 years old at the time) named my Prius "Envy" because she is enviromentally friendly.

I call the car Envy all of the time and my co-workers think I'm nuts.

We name the cars we own. We also name the cars we rent on our WDW trips.

We currently own a Pacifica. Her name is Magnifica. We used to have a Honda. Her name was Rhonda.

We always rent a minivan on our WDW trips. On our most recent trip, we had a maroon one named Mortimer. DS8 wanted to name it Carl, but we voted and Mortimer won. The trip before that, the rental was named Bubba. We'll be renting again in April, so I have lots of time to come up with the next name.

We also name our Christmas trees. I know, we're weird.

A friend of mine has named my Odyssey Van, "Christine" like from the movie "Christine"...lol My van seems to have a mind of her own. She will prevent people from getting out or in, will prevent people from rolling down the windows, she has killed the battery, and will set the emergency alarm off for no reason. This was really freaking me out until I did a search on the net for posessed Odyssey vans and actually came upon some hits from people with similar stories. I guess some of the Odyssey vans have "issues"!!!...lol

My car is also a Christine, as she, too, is possessed. I have an '02 Hyundai Sonata that locks and unlocks at random, the radio goes on and off by itself, changes stations and tries to play non-existent CDs, the speedometer goes down to 0 while driving...

Well since you asked. At first I called my '99 VW Passat Gisella. Now that she will lock the doors if you unlock the trunk (Not suppose to do that), sets off the alarm if the doors are lock and you unlock the trunk (again not suppose to happen) Will suddenly lock the door occasionally when you've been driving for lets say 3 minutes (yep you guessed it it's not a auto lock once your up to 10 miles on hour) We call her Christine.

I think I need to get a job when the kids are at school to pay for a new car what do you think?

I've never had a 'possessed' car.....they're all sounding a bit creepy! I'd probably be too scared to drive them.

I think a new car sounds like a great idea! Then you'll have to come up with a new name too.

My DD, 18, names some of our vehicles.

Our '93 Chevy Truck is Lucius because she said that sounded like an old southern name.

She named her '09 Chevy HHR Hermey because it's blue and "wants to be a Dentist" lol!

Our '96 Impala SS is the Nightmare Mobile because it's dark and we have a Jack Skellington license plate and antenna topper on it. My friend just calls it the hearse.

Our Dodge Caravan is called Soccer Mom. (We're not parents, we just look like it when we're in that van.)

Oh yeah That is Vinnie with me in my avatar , before him was a Mercedes Kompressor named Guido , before him a Pt Cruiser named Little Red (the only girl car I have ever had)before her was Big Red my CHevy ex cab truck .
We also had another truck named Big Blue and now he has been replaced by Ol Red

My little Echo is named Sophie. Everyone refers to my car by name and I sometimes forget that other people don't name their cars... So when we're with someone new and someone says something like, "No, her husband will ride in Sophie," there is always some explaining to do!

DH's mustang is Eleanor.

My bright red Mazda Miata is Ahura, also known as "Little Red"
