For work or whatever so you don't have to rush around like a lunatic?

I always have.. I absolutely hate having to rush first thing in the morning..

I always get up early and still have to rush around. I guess I just don't use my time wisely:surfweb:

I start work at 7 a.m. So I'm up between 4:45 and 5:15. I'd rather be sleeping! But it's really nice getting out at 3:30. Wish it were at 3:00! ;)

I get up early everyday, even on weekends. I've never been able to sleep in.

Yes, I get up about 2 hours before I leave for work. I don't like to be rushed either. I have plenty of time to make the bed, have coffee, go on the computer, read/pray, as well as take a shower and do my hair and makeup. Often I will also get a crock-pot meal going, too.

When I was still working that was my time frame too - unless I had a longer commute to work.. Then it would be more like 2 and a half hours early..

Nope- I rock and roll in the morning- no time for mistakes!!!

My alarm starts going off at 6:45
I get out of bed at 7:15
Do my stuff - out the door for 7:45
Get to work for 8!

My husband does all his morning stuff in 15 minutes!

We are not morning people!

I get up about 2 hours early. I've never been one to need a lot of sleep.

Not here, I can't stand to get up early. I have to wake my husband up between 5:35 and 6:00 so he can get to work by 6:30 then I go back to sleep until about 7:30. I've got my routine down so that I don't have to rush and can still make it to work by 8. Luckily work isn't too far from the house.

My best sleeping times are from about 6 am to 11 am. That isn't a good thing when you have to be to work at 8.

I set my alarm for an hour and a half before I have to get there.

I hit snooze 3 times (8 minutes each), drag my butt out of bed and get immediately in the shower (approx. 8 minutes spent here) then I get out and wrap a towel around my hair. I go searching for clothes, get dressed and go back in the bathroom where I brush my teeth while blow drying my hair (I don't dry it all the way, just about halfway).

Grab my shoes and socks, grab my purse, grab my keys and grab my wedding rings which are always on the mantle by the door.
Shoes and socks go on while I'm sitting at traffic lights or waiting on parents to drop their kids off (I live on a one-way street across from an elementary school, so I spend a LOT of time waiting to even get off the street in the mornings)

Work is 5 miles to I-77 (done with window down to further dry hair) and then 20 miles on I-77 and another 10-15 minutes off of I-77 in Ohio.
Plenty of time for hair to finish drying. One last brush before I walk in work.. and I'm ready.

I HATE mornings, absolutely abhor them! Unfortunately, I have to wake up with the chickens for my job during the week.:guilty: You can bet your hiney, I sleep as late as humanly possible on the weekends!:thumbsup2

DH is amazed I can do it so quick, he takes FOREVER.

He's such a girl sometimes, I don't understand it. :rotfl:

That pretty much sounds like my morning. Except I also have to spend some time looking for my keys because I can never remember where I put them! I'm trying to get better about that, though!

I'm an early bird. I don't have to be to work until 7:00 and it only takes me a minute to get to work and I get up at 4:30. Even on the weekends I am up early.

I leave for work at 7.30am. It takes me 15 minutes to cycle there. I get up at 6.45am-7am and I'm not rushed, but I don't eat breakfast at home so I don't exactly sit around reading the newspaper or watching TV, when I'm up I'm getting ready for work. Radio on, wash, dress, hair, make-up, out the door.

I 'finish' at 3.30pm but haven't left before 5pm yet.

On work days I wake up at 5:30 and leave for work at 6:30. I can't get up earlier than that so I make sure before I go to bed that I lay out my clothes, make my lunch, etc.

On the weekends I wake up whenever. No alarm clock on the weekends. :)

Up and ready by 6, watch the news while having some java, check email, then start breakfast for daycare kiddies who arrive at 7am :goodvibes. I rarely get to sleep by midnight and so enjoy sleeping in later on weekends. :)

Hook by the door labeled "keys"... it's the second best thing my DH ever got for me (the first being a 2lb bag of sour patch kids)

Took a few months to get into the habit but now I do it automatically. :cool1:

Yes. I hate to be rushed and I HATE to be late.
