I've been feeling them every morning since I came back late Friday night.... I hope they go away soon, it probably doesn't help that I have the park maps on my night stand either :(

Yes!!! Means its time to start planning another trip so you have something to look forward to.

Yep. Always.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_9_7.gif' border=0></a> The only cure is to start planning another trip!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_5_4v.gif' border=0></a>

I agree. The only thing that will help is starting to plan another trip to WDW!!

I was feeling a little bluesy myself today, wishing to be sitting to the left of the Colonel sipping on a Kungaloosh. May is just not getting here quick enough.

::yes:: you are not alone....the only way I could shake my blues was to beg my husband to at least let me plan a trip a year and a half out...even though it's far away, it feels good just to have a trip planned! Silly, I know. :earsgirl:

I too suffer from the blues...I have been back for three weeks, and I am still suffer. I am trying to make myself feel better by working on the details for my July trip, and although it helps, I am anxiously counting down the days to my eleven day trip! When I grow up, uh, I mean when my kids grow up, I am moving to Florida to be closer!

Believe it or not, I don't. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated. I usually start feeling the blues about two to three weeks after coming home. Then the whole anticipation planning cycle begins again.

I SO have since last week. I know I'm driving my boyfriend crazy talking about our next trip(s) which are 10 months away but it keeps me from being depressed to be back to the blustery cold & snow...

ey I only have 270 days or so...right? ;)

Yep and our last trip in Dec/Jan really was the worst! I think we were in a Dis Withdrawal for a month that time!

YES! Major post-Disneyland let down last week. I wanna go back to WDW RIGHT NOW!!!!

I was so sad all week, kept daydreaming about the parks...

If things work out with the guy I'm seeing right now, maybe I can take him next fall :)

Always:( As I told oldest DD on the last day of our last trip--the only good thing about the last day is it will be less than 365 days until our next trip. It helps to hang out here and look at all the pictures and video we took.

Glad to know I'm not alone! I start to get a little down even when we are past the halfway point during our trip because I know how quickly time flies and we will be leaving. It does help to start planning a next trip, and I think the anticipation of a long awaited trip is sometimes worth the down feeling once you get home. It does help to have the boards too - I like to read about other's trips and just know that my time will come soon too!

It seems to me that the longer and more I plan, the more of a letdown it is when it is over. I am trying not to obsess over everything this time, but once I get on the boards I keep finding more things go obsess about. But now I have my plane tickets and a good car rental, and once I buy my passes and get past tomorrow's discount release to finalize my resort plans, I am going to try to put it away until a couple of weeks before I go.

I think the fact that most of us spend so much time planning the trips, that once it comes and goes it's just natural to have a bit of letdown. This year may be an exception for me though since I'm just now planning a trip that is 10 or 11 weeks away. A surprise trip that we hadn't planned to take but were invited by a family member to join them. We usually only go every other year and this was to be our year off, so this is like a bonus trip!

Like everyone else has said, the best medicine to cure the WDW blues is to plan another vacation. It's only natural to feel somewhat let down after all the planning and build-up to your vacation, and it always goes so quickly. But the good news for us (family w/3 kids 9,6,4) is that we finally took the plunge and became DVC members (Saratoga Springs). So at least when we felt the "blues" soonafter we arrived home from our last vacation, it felt good to know that we already planning and looking forward to our next Disney vacation. See you in the 'World soon !

i just got back late saturday night and my dh and i have been fighting and we're both sad. i think its bc we had so much fun and now its back to life *sigh*. and i got sick towards the end of the trip and had to come home instead of going back to the MK on saturday so i didn't get all my splash mountainin out of my system. i want to go back, NOW!

Just because I happen to know that 18 weeks ago right now I was on the Back Lot Tour at Disney/MGM doesn't mean that I'm stuck living in the past on our November '03 WDW trip :teeth: !

That's why I've started planning for the next trip even before I go on the current trip! :teeth: You'll notice I have two countdown clocks going for that very reason.

YES!!!! I thought I was the only one. Planning, planning, planning for the hopeful November trip is the only way to make it better.
