Do you get any kind of gift for joining DVC?

Hi, Disney-Kim. Some here have reported getting small gifts. Personally, I received a Mickey tote bag, and a pen (although many members on these boards speculated that I lifted the guides pen after signing ).

In 1992 we got a DVC tote bag and a character photo - and a free Ice Cream Sundae. Plus we early owners would occasionally get little gifts when we went "home". When OKW was THE DVC Resort.

We joined when the DVC sales team "hit the road" and traveled to NY back in '94. At the time we received DVC mugs and T shirts. I can still remember the excitement of joining (we had kicked it around since '92)!
And we're still lovin' it!

Got a nice backpack, two nice DVC pens and a print of VWL. Also got a $100 Disney gift certificate for going thru the DVC presentation. This was in mid-June. Plus we got 40 years of DVC Magic to go along with all this. Not a bad deal overall.

We got a tote bag and a plastic DVC license plate. A few months later, they were giving the VWL litho print which we'd have loved to get.

But we didn't expect anything, so the goodies we did get were very welcome and appreciated.

We got a tote bag/back pack and the lithograph. Our friends say they send you stuff occassionally, but I haven't seen anybody writing things like that on the boards.

we received a disney/mickey backpack, luggage tag,two pens,the litho print of the beach club, 4 quick and casual meal certificates(is which we only used two at a time and got to go out twice to eat). lots of cotton candy & candy,and when we got home we received beautiful post cards of all the dvc resorts oh, yeah and annual dues!

Over the years I have gotten 2 tote bags, a DVC license plate, a pen, 9/11 DVC member pins, VWL opening day pins and most recently a very nice BWV lithograph with an add on.

When we joined in Nov 00, we got a canvas zippered tote bag with our member book and such in it. Not too long after that we got a license plate, the VWL pin, and the 9/11 pins. All good stuff and certainly appreciated.
And I guess you could say I got a gift from DH of being able to visit and make memories at WDW more often!

Back in '93 we got a nice size tote bag and a sweet perk, free park hopper passes for 7 years. When we added on in 95, nothing, over the next several years other item would show up, members tag for the car, the 9/11 pins, this year we added at BCV got a nice lithograph. I like the first gift best, I do miss those passes.
