Do you follow a "tradition" and go to...

No, but I do traditional smile bigger than I've ever smiled just as soon as I pull up to my resort, and I don't stop smiling until I leave, then I traditionally cry about 3/4 of the way back home and for a long time after that.:o

You and I are so alike Shannon!!:D :bounce:

My family tradition is to begin and end the trip at Magic Kingdom. I agree, the whole time I am there I have a huge smile, the second I start walking towards the exit at MK all I can do is cry. I don't stop crying till I am on the airplane for an hour (and then I just want to get home because I know that is where I am headed and there is no turning back!!!).

We head for MGM first and head right over to Tower of Terror and Rock n' Roller Coaster!

Drop bags off and head for MK. Husband and son have to go on Buzz Lightyear and then TTA. Paging Mr. Tom Morrow, Paging Mr. Tom Morrow!

That's what we do too, but it's always Tower of Terror two times in a row first, then we head over to 50's Prime Time for lunch. It's also what we do on our last day.

not a tradition, but MK all the way. It's my favorite. We end with Epcot.

When I went with my family when I was younger we always went to DTD the afternoon that we arrived and MK our first full day.
My husband and I have only been to Disney together once and we started the tradition of going to Epcot first.

No...two out of the three times I have gone, we went to Epcot first. The other time we went to MK first.

BUT, I will say, it doesn't really feel like we're at Disney til we go to the MK. Last time, Mom and I toured Epcot and were planning on going to MGM for the evening. We sat on a bench in Canada and said, "You know, let's go to MK instead...I just can't stay away and don't want to wait til Monday to see it! (this was Saturday)." So much for well-laid plans!

YES! I always do the same thing. If I can check into my room, I simply drop the luggage and immediately head for EPCOT. Then I go to the Electric Umbrella, get lunch and sit outside and watch the fountain. Then the next stop is to send email to friends and family. Finally it's off to Test Track for a ride. After that it depends on my energy level. Usually I just go back to the hotel and crash for a couple of hours.

Come to think of it we always seem to go the MK on our last day too!

We check in at OKW, lunch at olivia's, boat ride to DTD..then we go to Epcot...

Our last day tradition is call " the best of the parks' We do highlights of all 4 parks in one day.. then head out about 6 pm or so to start the long drive home..

No, I usually check out the least crowded days on WDWIG website and visit whichever park has the lowest crowds the day we arrive.

We have a first day and a last day tradition of going to MK. On our first day we have nice meal at one of the sit down places and then the last night, we eat at the Castle.

It varies with us, but usually we go to Epcot first. We're flying from the west coast so it is often the only park still open when we arrive. However, if we don't have enough pass days then we don't even go to a park that first day and it will vary as to which park we go to the next day.

Mk is always done on our first full day. when possible the 3:00 parade at MK is also the last thing I see. I almost missed my plane once because of this tradition.

We always do MK on the first day and last day. Sometimes the last day is a split day. We try and do fireworks almost every night.

We always go to the Magic Kingdom on the first day and ride IASW. It was our very first park and ride that we did together

This is what we do every year without fail:hyper:

Magic Kingdom, BTMRR first and last ride of the trip. Although in October, when it was closed, we were in the second to the last trip through Space Mountain our last day. That was pretty cool, we may have to change the last trip. But BTMRR will always be first.
