Do you finish all shows you stream?

I started a show months ago (The Rookie)
and there are so many seasons!

Getting burnt out on it but feel like I should finish it before the newest season premiers next year.

I don't. The latest example was The Gilded Age. I watched the entire first season thinking it would get less boring, but it didn't. I can only look at the pretty costumes so much.

There were a few shows I got bored of after a few seasons like Bones and House. Some I couldn’t get into like house of cards.

Nope. If they're not interesting to me I don't bother finishing them.

We watch has the appear for network shows, like the Rookie.
During the summer we watch older ones we haven't seen. If they are good we will watch all that are available, if not good....one an done.
We really enjoyed Arctic Air this summer.

this is similar to my method with new dramas on network tv. I have been burned too many times enjoying a first season only to have it cancelled (in a couple of cases midseason ) so I let them pile up on the DVR and then if I learn they've been renewed for a second we watch season one over the summer.

Not all of them, no. I figure I might get around to finishing them all eventually but who knows. I'm a million seasons behind on Law and Order:SVU and Grey's Anatomy. Not sure if I'll pick back up on Grey's though.

My husband and I started one a while back with David Tennant (can't even think of what it's called) but it was really dark and kind of stressful so we haven't gone back to watch much more of it at this point.

When we start a series we stop after 2nd episode if we can't get into it. Sometimes after the first. The only series we ever watched many seasons of and didn't finish was Deadliest Catch, just because everything seemed pretty repetitive on that show.

Usually, unless I wasn't liking it for some reason. Usually I am pretty picky about what I start on, so I do get though them. Int ehcases of older shows with hundreds of episodes, I don't necessarily watch start to finish - just pick random ones. It's funny because Disney+ will send me emails encouraging me to, "Finish watching The Simpsons." Yeah, okay, I'll get right on that.

Most of time we do but there have been a few we just couldn't finish for various reasons. Just got tired of them or they became to convoluted or to difficult to follow. I don't think except for a couple that we have made a conscious decision to quit. It just kind of happened. There are probably more but these come to mind

Outlander thinks we stopped about midway through season 5
Andor made it part way through season 2
Wheel of time part way through season 2
Perfect Couple watched about 3 episodes
The Rings of Power stopped after 4th episode of season 2
The Bear couldn't even get through 1 episode

Even for shows that I've been enjoying, I often get TV ADD and forget to go back and finish a series, like Schitt's Creek - which I keep meaning to go back to some day.

Same. Some shows, I don't even make it past the 1st episode.

My recently abandoned show was Mr. Robot. It was hot this summer, so I tried to get into it, but abandoned it in episode 4 or 5 of season 1 - it was just too dark for me.

I actually dropped that at one point, then picked it back up later and ended up loving it again.

To answer the original question - no, I don't always finish shows. I find I get bored of comedies more than dramas, I think because the episodes tend to be more self-contained and I miss the "what happens next week?" factor. But I've also dropped shows for specific reasons (like Outlander got too violent for me, or I hated the evil cop on House).

I figure there are too many shows out there to settle for ones you don't like.

(It's true of books as well, but I'm a work in progress on that one. I still find there is a little guilt factor to not finishing a book that just isn't there with TV. But I'm working on it!)
