Do you find stopping at 240,000 in fireworks cheating?

You ppl really have too much time on yer hands to be discussing whether or not whining ... uh I mean winning at fireworks is cheating or not. LOL. Just like anything else in VMK. We all want the best stuff and the coolest latest thing. Vmk sets the rules and we all do our best to get around them one way or another. Even Vmk does it (he bay), so whether or not you think stoppng in fireworks is cheating is irrelevent. It's all about the benjamins baby. And those of you that deny it are cheating yerself. LOL. Oops, my timer expired. What if they gave out Inferno pins instead of fireworks pins? Hmm... bet that'd throw a wrench into things.

I don't think it's cheating, but I sure do feel guilty when I do it!! Before I reached my current score range, I never stopped...I wasn't at 240,000 yet! I remember Bears asking me if I wanted her to play with me so I could get my own magic pin (everyone else kept stopping at 240 and I always came in first). So she said she would play and not stop, so I would not come in first. (Hugs Bears...thanks for that. )

There was a time where I considered myself part of the Dont stop until you get to the top club (I started the club and was the only 'official' member if anyone cares... lol) and I refused to stop at 240,000 My best... a mear 272,000 which I have not come close to in moons... and moons... But the fact is you get more credits for stopping... and I like credits. (esp now that my kid is sucking my credits dry!!! )

Oh and if you think it is EASY to come in second place with 240,000 your sorely mistaken... MUCH harder to stop than to continue on...

Every once in a while I get the firework bug tugging at me, but with the kids... it's too hard to find 10 SOLID minutes alone in this house until late at night, and by then I am so fried I couldnt hit the side of a barn with an RV.... So I play pirates, where I can do other things while sinking ships... (I wont share how often I am on the phone/ reading email etc and clobber others in pirates... it would be rubbing it in) ALSO... often I can make more in pirates in 10 mintues than I can in Fireworks.. or at least close to it, and I can multitask while doing it....

Heh, I wasn't feeling well last night and so just played a couple of games of fireworks -- here's how a couple of them went:

I played an awesome game with Fox, got over 287,000 (don't ask me how - I had such a headache). Then I started a game with no one I knew, but stopped in 2nd round -- really bad lol. Played a game with no one I knew -- wasn't doing great, but was in first place at the end of the 4th level. I decide this game is worth stopping at 240,000, so I try to concentrate on getting as close to 240,000 as I can. I get to 239 something at the end of 5-2, and then talk to my Monkey who is getting ready for bed. I watch the end of 5-3 and wait for the scores. Remind me not to look away until I get to 240,000...I forgot to click on just one more of the fireworks in level 5-3 -- I came in first, and would have come in first anyway. No one else was even close to 240....and that was my last game for the night.

Unitl VMK fixes the scoring so that the actually winner gets the top prize, it's not cheating to stop. VMK made us have to choose between being the winner and getting the top amount of credits. I'll take the credits anyday.

A lot of times, i'll stop around 241,000 that way people who can just squeak by can get their pins, and I still have the shot of coming in second if someone else is playing for the win.

If I'm playing against people who i konw always stop, I will stop as well.

apparently we dont have as much time as you...we only have time to argue a point...not argue whether or not we have too much time on our hand to argue a point

No I don't think its cheating afterall the fireworks games is about skill and stategy and if thats what it takes to get the 1000 points from the games then that is what it takes.

I do find it annoying although thats generally because I forget to stop at 240,000 and then come in first place therefore getting less credits from the game.

Why can't they just give whoever gets more than 240,000 the good credits why does the person who comes in first have to get less - i just dont get that at all!!!
