Do you ever forget to eat?

I never do. But my DH ALWAYS does. He just doesn't care about food. :confused3

I worry about him because he is so thin. I think currently he weighs 5 lbs. less then me. I only weigh 125! He often skips lunch, so I always try and make hearty dinners for him.

All the time.. I've never had much of an appetite.. I remember one time when I fainted in work.. As I was coming to, this older woman was bending over me, practically nose to nose, and starts screeching at me, "Did you eat breakfast this morning?" - and when I said "No" (I've NEVER been a "breakfast eater") she waggled her crooked finger at me and hissed, "Well you can't run a car with NO gasoline!!!"

Okay - got it.. But I still don't eat breakfast.. LOL :teeth: Sometimes I forget to eat the other meals too, but for a year now I've been drinking a lot of Boost, so at least I'm getting some kind of nourishment when I forget - or just don't feel like eating... :flower:

One look at me and you could tell the answer to that question!!! :rotfl:

I have never 'forgotten' to eat-- stopping is a problem all by itself!!! :rotfl2:

When I was in Paris last week, I forgot to eat quite a few times. But when I am home, it seems like my schedule revolves around meal times.

Denae

Yup, that's me. I could care less about eating when there's stuff going on. :teeth:

When I saw this thread - I immediatly thought about a comedienne who pokes fun at women who say the forgot to eat -

Her response is " Now I have forgotten my keys before but it takes a special kind of person to forget to eat"

Please don't flame me for the response - I was quoting someone else and just thought it was funny!!!!

BTW- yeah I fogotten to eat - I will get so caught up in cleaning the house - then DH will ask me at some point - "what is for lunch" and it's 2 in the afternoon......

There was someone here who had that or a version in their signature line and it used to crack me up. I think it is actually "....it takes a special kind of stupid to forget to eat."

I don't forget to eat....I naturally don't eat anything in the morning till around noon or so, then I eat. I'm nursing now and it's hard to not to eat.

At my lowest being a mom, I was 133, I'm 5'9", I'd like to get back to that weight, but with nursing and eating probably one too many cookies, I just can't do it now.

I can't say that I've ever forgotten to eat! I've never been that busy! I have been stressed enough to not eat, but it's not because I've forgotten. It's more of not having an appetite.

Not forgotten, just don't really care for breakfast or lunch. Will have a normal dinner, then maybe a bowl of cereal later on. I know , not the healthiest way to live..

I would have said no up until the past couple of weeks. I don't think it's so much that I have been forgetting, just too busy and I keep saying "I'll eat later" and then that never comes. Wednesday I was at the mall with my daughter and we ate there, sorta lunch/dinner cause it was about 3:30pm. Then I got home, fed her a snack, put her to bed, fell asleep with her for a couple of hours, then woke up, cleaned up, went to bed. Thursday I didn't eat breakfast (I normally don't though cause I'm up at 6 and just not hungry then), was at Target during lunchtime so I said I'd eat when I got home. Then I had some errands I forgot about so after I gave my daughter lunch we ran out of the house and didn't get back till dinner. I made dinner for her and ate some of the corn she was eating, but thought I'd eat after I put her to bed at 7. Well I fell asleep with her again (I have a cold and have been more tired than normal) and didn't wake up till 1:30am, when I turned off all the lights, fed our bunnies and went back to sleep. Then today no breakfast as usual, missed lunch cause her teacher came over for a conference at 1 and ended up staying till 4:30 and I didn't want to eat in front of her. So then once she left I got dinner ready, but we didn't have all that much so it was a small meal. So basically the last time I ate was Wednesday. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Oh how I wish I could forget to eat, at least until I loose about 30 lbs! :rotfl:

Only in my dreams! LOL, I can't say my life revolves around food because it doesn't but I have no problem 'remembering' to eat either.

NEVER!

However, I do put something in the microwave late at night, then fall asleep and find it in there the next morning. Ditch it at that point.

I forget to eat often, mostly breakfast. I can't eat first thing in the morning, I start to get hungry around 11, but sometimes by the time I get all the office stuff situated, and the car packed with everything I'm bringing, if I'm on the road by 10:30 am I might not get something to eat until around 1-2pm, when I'm about ready to pass out!
I do this often, usually about once or twice a week. If I could only remember to buy some snacks to take along with me.

Yes, I truly forget to eat. MY DH has never been able to understand that but sometimes I just get running around and doing things and suddenly it dawns on me....I forgot to eat, especially breakfast.

I'm heavy and I forget to eat lunch all the time. I don't eat breakfast. I'm not a morning person and I'll lucky to get out of the house properly clothed. But, I get really busy at work and am doing tons of running around and by the time I realize I AM hungry, I'm ravenous and end up eating junk.

Ya, I've forgotten to eat. I'll get caught up doing something and realize I missed a meal. There are also times when I'm too stressed to eat.

YES!! In fact, when I was at disney I forgot to eat for an entire day. I guess I am not a big eater anyway, and I get so caught up feeding my kids that I just forget to feed myself.

And my DH has had to remind me on more than one occasion to eat.

:rotfl2:

I've forgotten THAT I've eaten and, therefore eat more than I should but forget TO eat???
