My SIL does all the time. She tries to say she's 2-3 years older than what she is. I politely correct her all the time.:) She's 2 months older than I am, so if she's making herself older, she's making me older too.:teeth:

OMG! Yes. I do that all the time. Sometimes I actually have to stop and think about it. I'm 33, I think...:o ;)

Yep, me too...I'm starting to get confused.:D

OH MY! Maybe it's a 33 yo thing that's done. I'm 33 and so is my SIL.:teeth: I had her believing she was 36 one time. Then I goofed when she asked me how old I was.;) I accidentally told her I was 33.:o

Yes I do. Don't know why though. I often make myself a year older than what I am. Or I really have to THINK about how old I am THIS year.

I do that too!!! I always have to think on it, I am 34! I guess age just isn't that important to me!:teeth: I still (and probably always) will act like a kid!;)

I don't forget, I'm 39. I think it's one of those years that you don't forget. lol

It's really not vanity or anything, but sometimes I really have to say, "You were born in 19__ and this is 2003, so you must be ___!!! LOL

:p :p :p

That's too funny! 33 was the year I had trouble with also. I couldn't remember it to save my life. I had to take the current year, subtract the year I was born, and get the answer. LOL! That was the only year it happened.

Usually no... Once when I was 23 or 24 I was taking Amtrak from Dallas to St Louis and went into the club car to get a beer. The bartender asked me how old I was (I had actaually never been carded before even though I have always looked young for my age) and it took me by surprise and I just stood there with my mouth hanging open unable to remember how old I was. After about 3-4 seconds I finally blurted out "I'm over 21". He asked to see my ID and we both had a laugh when I explained I froze because this was my first "carding".

I usually just ask DH. If he forgets too, then I'm in trouble.
I also have to look down to make sure I'm fully dressed, sometimes. I have this fear that one day I'll be out, look down, and discover I've forgotten some article of clothing. Strange, but true. :p

LOL! There have been times while I was driving that I really wondered if I dressed that morning. Then I check to make sure I'm not in a night shirt. LOL! Never mind the fact that if I were in my night shirt, that would mean I showered in it! :teeth:

I once jumped into my car on a cold morning and drove off to go to work. On the way I looked down for some reason and noticed that I had forgotten to put my blouse on. Luckily, I had a coat on!

Oh by the way, I was only 20 at the time.

Well that would have certainly made for an interesting day if you didn't notice.

for those of you that have seen the old Bill Cosby Him Self HBO special and remember the little boy on the airplane:
::sticking hand up with four fingers straight up::
"I'm four years old"

No - I'm 35 - I just can't remember how many years I've been 35. :teeth:
