Do you ever dream about your

job? I'm a waitress and I dream about mine often!! I am always "running behind" and they've moved everything like the water glasses and I can never find them, and it's a much longer walk to the kitchen than it should be, etc.

Last night I dreamed I was waiting on a table of 8 and as I set one lady's Coke down in front of her the water pitcher I was carrying in my other hand got caught on the strap of her purse so I was trying to carefully remove it so as not to spill the whole pitcher in her lap, and I accidentally spilled a couple of drops of her Coke onto her salad plate. I apologized and she was upset about it. The drops of Coke were barely touching her lettuce, yet she got upset, so I offered to get her a new plate and she said fine. As I walked away I mumbled under my breath, "I know what I'd like to do with your plate" (spill it ALL right in her lap) and she told the boss so I got into trouble!!!

Isn't it funny the things we dream about...

Not very often about my job, but I DO dream a lot about acting (community theatre). I have what we call "actor's nightmares" where you miss an entrance, go blank on your lines, can't find your costume, there's no props, etc. etc. I HATE THOSE!

I'll sometimes get into this weird half-asleep half-awake state where I'm dreaming, yet I feel like I'm not totally asleep and I'm my dream I'm trying to fix some problem or debug some program and I'm having a heck of a time with it for one reason or another. The worst part is I keep thinking to myself that I can't go to sleep until I get this figured out...I hate it because I wake up feeling like I never really slept at all. I also feel I should be able to claim overtime because I was 'working' all night long! Of course that could only happen if we actually got paid overtime

When I was in college I would have nightmares about exams. It was the same dream basically, sometimes I still have them and I haven't been in college in a very long time. In the dream I realize I have a very important exam and I haven't studied and by the time I find the exam room, I only have 15 minutes to take a 2 hour test. I hate that dream. Wonder why I still have it?

Yes, I dream about work when things are stressful there. However, I never dreamt about work so much as I did when I was a waitress. It was awful; I felt like I never left the job!!!

I'm a nurse in the CCU. I hear those call lights and monitor alarms in my dreams all night long!

Just the other night I had a dream about a job that I havent had in almost 10 years. Some of the same people were there and the equipment was very real. It was like I never left.

Yes. I dream that I forgot to phone in and tell the school that I am not coming in and my students are left alone.
