Do you enjoy Christmas shopping?

We were just discussing around the dinner table how some people just loathe to shop, especially around this time of year.

I must say as much as it is a pain gettng in & out of malls & stores I am really enjoying this year. I don't know why but the crowds seem to be more pleasant this year and even the store personnel don't seem as grumpy.

So I was wondering are do look forward to the zen of shopping or would you rather walk on broken glass?

I really don't like to christmas shop around my parts...but for some reason, I get all excited when we go to New York City to christmas shop. I guess NYC has a better ambiance during the holidays than my neck of the woods.

I can relate Mr. MouseFan! This is the first year in a
long time I haven't gone to NYC for Christmas shopping-
including last year. I miss it
I actually am not a "shopper" but I do like Christmas
shopping. I hit and run....a little at a time until I have
a few irritating things to buy-like now. I have to focus
and finish. It's the wrapping I HATE!!!!!!

I'd be beside myself! LOL! It's our annual tradition. (Okay, the company I work for sponsors an annual trip) Anywho, we go to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and then hit 5th Ave. We almost didn't make it this year but I wasn't having it! LOL...We ended up going but of course, we go during the first big snowstorm of the year, last week. It was beautiful seeing the Rockefellar Center tree covered in snow but I do not suggest visiting NYC in a snowstorm!

I love the Radio City Christmas show. Funny thing is,
I'm usually so tired from shopping that at some point
I fall sound asleep! Can you believe I sleep in that
loud and fast paced show? LOL! One of my
favorite sleeping spots in NYC. I was there in the snow
a few winters ago. My SIL was on her first Christmas
trip and loved it! That was the year we stopped at
every Godiva store for samples-she's a bad influence!
Gosh, I miss it-the sidewalks packed with people and
the windows all decorated, nothing like it! Next year-
I'll be back! We might even go in for the Thanksgiving
parade and set a new tradition.

If I know what I am going after and can to the store/or shop online and basically get what I want, then I enjoy it. I am not a browser kind of shopper. I don't like to run from store to store trying to find the out of stock items! Now that stresses me out.!!

I do enjoy the malls this time of year. Whether it's shopping or just browsing. We will be spending the day in Boston on the 21. Have tickets to the Holiday Pop's. Love the city this time of year.

I love to shop, but not after Black Friday! I try very hard to stay out of the stores this time of year.

I did most of my shopping before Black Friday.
I would pick a quiet evening at the malls, like Monday nights. I had the place practically to myself. I still enjoy going to the malls now, I love the atmosphere, but I can relax now and enjoy it cause the pressure is off, I'm done!

Me, too! I now LOVE Xmas shopping because it's all delivered to your door, even the wrapping paper and ribbons!

I do like xmas shopping. With all the decorations and lights it's pretty festive in the malls now.

Yes, when I'm not stressed! That's why I start early. I go 3-4 times. That's easier for me, than doing it all in one day. I'm not sure I could ever do that. I try to get the majority by Dec. 1st. Then just finish up odds and ends as I wish. Plus I can enjoy the decorations when I'm out in Dec.

No, I hate shopping. I've always hated shopping. When my sister and I lived in the same town we used to choose a day and go out together, eating lunch out, shopping and having a ball. But now she lives in East Texas and I don't We can't do that anymore

I love shopping at any time. I think Christmas shopping is lots of fun, and I do not mind going shopping this close to the holidays. The malls and parking lots might be full, but it doesn't stop me. I guess I get a thrill out of buying all those presents for my friends and family. I did almost all of the shopping this year. SO has been very busy with work related things, so I had to take care of his family gifts as well.

I love shopping, period! Whether it's for someone's birthday, Christmas, or JUST FOR ME....I love it! I love spending the whole day in the mall, and especially at this time of the year with all the holiday decorations, music, etc. Going Monday, can't wait!!!
